Sky's PoV

I wanted to turn around and pound that bitch who hurt my boyfriend. She thought she was better than everyone else, and now Ty is crying. Ty never deserves to cry. He's perfect: sweet, caring, sensitive, and considerate. I wish he didn't have to deal with people like... That. I walked with him out of the building, pressing a kiss on his lips while that secretary lady could still see, silently daring her to say something. I helped him wipe off his cheeks, and petted his long hair a bit to help him calm down. When he was finally calm enough to walk steadily without help, we stood up and walked side by side to the market. I looked around for a pedestal or something raised to stand on, and spotted a stage with a small band of people playing bright music into the morning air. I went to the stage, seeing a microphone and intent on using it. The leader of the group, a girl about Tys age with blonde hair, saw me coming and stood up, motioning to me to come closer. I did, stopping right in front if the stage. "What do ya need?" She asked in a high, clear voice. "I'm here in official SkyArmy business, and I have an important announcement to make. I was wondering if I could borrow your mic for a minute?" She nodded without hesitation. "I would think that you're Sky then?" She asked me with her back turned. She looked back at me and handed me the mic, offering a hand to help me climb on the stage. "Yeah," I responded, hoping that I wouldn't be mobbed or anything like that. You never know. I grasped the mic in my hand, turning to face the crowd, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw blondie signal for the group to stop playing. The music instantly died, and the noise level of chatter did too, as the people turned to look at the stage, wondering why the music had stopped. I quickly thought out what I would say in my head. "Hello, everybody!" I started out, speaking as clear as I could into the mic. "I am Sky, leader of the SkyArmy. As many of you probably know, it is our mission to protect innocents from the Squid Menace, and to thwart their evil plans. We come to your village today looking for new Recruits. If anybody is interested, please come talk to me within the next day. We will be walking around the market all day, so please, if you are interested in joining the SkyArmy, come find me and Ty. Thank you for your time!" I handed the mic back to the leader of the band and jumped off of the stage. I went back to Ty, who was staring at me in awe. I grinned a bit. "What?" I asked him playfully. "How- How did you do that?! You sounded so... Confident!" I shook my head, laughing under my breath. Ty will forever be that shy kid in the back of the room. Suddenly, two boys and a girl were standing in front of us. One guy and the girl looked like they could be related, while the second guy looked like a negative copy of first. He had black hair as opposed to the others light brown, dark skin as opposed to the others light. The different one looked like the shy one in the group, hanging behind the girl and other boy. "Can we help you?" I asked. "We are interested in joining your army." The girl said. She looked tough and fierce, and they all looked like good fighters. I nodded. "What are your skill sets?" I asked them. "I can fight well with a sword," the girl said. "I am fast, stealthy when needed, and agile." I looked at the light skinned guy. "I can fight well as a tank, using a sword or battle axe. I am strong and tough, but a little slower." I looked at the brown skinned boy. "I can fight sniping from a distance," he explained nervously. "Or I can work in healing," he added. I nodded. They seemed like they would be a nice addition to the army. They would be tested before they would be admitted, of course. I dug an extra map out of my bag and handed it to them. "Pack anything you will need and follow this path to the base." I said, pointing to a line I had traced. They all nodded. "What are your names?" I asked them. "I'm Rachel," said the girl. "This is my twin brother, Alex," she said, pointing to the light skinned guy. "And that's our adoptive brother, Josh." She finished, gesturing to the dark skinned boy. They all looked a couple of years younger than Ty, maybe 15 or 16. The group took off, Rachel calling over her shoulder, "Thank you, General Sky!" I smiled a bit. They could take care of themselves for their age. All during the rest of the day, no one else approached us.
