2: Live in the Moment

"Harley? Like the motorcycle?" I asked.

"Actually, yeah. Before I was born my dad was into motorcycles and the adrenaline rush. You know? Typical man... Then I came along and ruined everything," She replied slowly.

"Ruined everything? What do to mean?" I pressed.

"Well.. I mean I wasn't planned or anything. My parents were only 22, they were young, stupid, college kids and I was the nightmare. But, long story short, I was born and a few weeks later I got adopted by a lovely family, and life couldn't be better!!!" Harley said with a big smile, showing off her dimples.

"That's wonderful! And even if you were named after a motorcycle, it suits you," I stated.

"Well thank you, Luke. I've learned to love it over the years," She replied as some crimson creeped onto her cheeks, "But enough about me, what's your life story?" She asked as she winked.

"I'm just the typical Australian boy. I get into a bit of trouble here and there, but my life is boring."

All though, it might have gotten just a bit more interesting.

"I love skateboarding, but I love singing more than anything. I've always wanted to be in a band or something, it sounds like a lot of fun!" I told her.

"Aw yeah? You should totally go for it! Follow your dreams!" Harley continued, "Because you never know how much longer you have on this earth, and you have to make the most of it while you still can!"

"I guess you're right," I replied, "Maybe one day..."

"Just don't wait too long!! I want to be able to see you be famous," Harley pressed on.

Okay this was getting a little weird. I just met the girl, and she's going on and on about living and not waiting to follow your dreams cause you could die at any minute. Ummm? I'm gonna have to look into this one.
