Ten more minutes. Just ten more minutes left.
I was sitting in English literature, god do I hate this class but it's my only chance of getting into a good university.
I kept glancing over to the clock on the wall
Nine minutes twenty-eight seconds
Nine minutes twenty-seven seconds
Nine minutes twenty-six seconds
That's when I looked at my phone light up
*one new text message. swipe to read*
I swiped my phone to see a text from Harry
From Harry:
Hey, I'm out In the school parking lot. meet me there after English lit.
Stay awake just another eight minutes and eleven seconds left ;) xx
Finally. Something to take my mind off the remaining time that's left.
I smiled and texted him back
From Anna:
Ok :) and I'm trying! But Mr Peters is not helping my 'trying to stay awake' plan right now xx
After hearing Mr Peters speech on our homework class ended and I made my way to the parking lot. Harry's black range rover was parked near the gate.
I was walking towards his car when I saw Harry come out. he was wearing his black skinny jeans and a plain white t-shirt with brown boots. He looked... Really hot!
Wait what? Snap out of it Anna he's your bestfriend. do not drool over what's never going to happen,
snap. Out. Of. It.
When I got to his car I still couldn't get my eyes off him, he looked so hot and from the last time I saw him, I actually think he's been, well.. working out.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I noticed Harry calling my name.
"Hello. Earth to Anna is anyone in there" he knocked on my head and laughed, I couldn't help but laugh at his terrible attempt of a 'joke'
"Oh Shutup Styles" I rolled my eyes and laughed while heading to the passengers seat and opening the door.
"Are we going because I think I might starve to death" I spoke while giving a pout at the end
Harry smiled and ran to his side and got in. we buckled in and set off
-Harry's POV-
I can't get over how hot Anna looks. Christ she looks hot everyday if I'm honest. but I never tend on telling her that because she always disagrees with what I say.
She was sat fiddling with the radio. It was hilarious just looking at her. She didn't know what she was doing.
"Anna you alright there love?" I laughed while catching a glimpse of her then looking back at the road.
"No. Your stupid radio isn't working? I think you need to get it fixed" she stopped touching it and folded her arms on her chest.
I looked at her and burst out laughing
I couldn't control it.
"Anna are you kidding me?" I couldn't speak properly. She really is adorable
"What? What's so funny dumbass?" She looked so serious which made me laugh even harder.
"Anna it would work if you first turned it on love" I pressed the power button and she looked at me.
She burst out laughing and turned all red.
"A-are you f-f-for real" she spoke through breaths
We stopped at a red light and I glued my eyes onto Anna. I couldn't explain how perfect she looked when her eyes would crease up when she laughed or how her dimples would show when she smiled.
She was beautiful and I wanted her to know that
I wanted her to know the real reason as to why i broke up with Chloe. I wanted her to know how she made me feel, and still makes me feel everyday.
But I couldn't. And I can't.
Because she only see's me as a friend
And if I'm honest. it hurts a lot.
"HARRY OH MY GOD HARRY HELLO" Anna said while shaking me
I came out of my thoughts by Anna shaking and punching me.
"W-what? what's wrong?" I looked at her confused and worried?
"Harry seriously drive, what thoughts did you dive into? Because my god did you drown in them" she said while looked pissed.
"Oh shit, sorry I was just, uhm, just thinking about someone" I lied.
"Well don't do that again, you nearly had people coming out of their cars to kill is!
"Yeah I doubt that" I said rolling my eyes, she laughed and looked out the window.
Once we made it to my drive way, I turned off the engine and was about to get out when Anna stopped me by holding onto my arm.
"Harry?" she whispered, looking straight into my eyes.
My heart was beating really fast. All of a sudden I starting to get worried.
"Yeah?" I tried to sound as calm as I could.
She looked me straight in the eyes
"whatever Chloe did to make you dump her. Just know that I'm here for you. In all honesty she was a bitch and I'm glad you broke up. I'm saying this because I dont want to see you upset Haz" she gripped onto my hand which made me flinch at her touch.
"I know it was her you were thinking about in the car, just don't okay. she's not worth your thoughts anymore" she smiled and leaned in to give me a kiss on the cheek.
She turned around and got out the car.
I couldn't move.
Only if she knew it was her all along. Not Chloe.
