Since I was 12, life had just started going down hill drastically. My parents and little sister died in a fire at our house. I was there too, it was just that I was the first person the firefighters got to, and when they went back for my family... They were already engulfed in the flames. My little sister was barley even 5. She didn't even get to experience preschool.
Before my family died, I was already known as very quiet child. I spoke every now and then at school to a few people, but only if they spoke to me first of course. I would always love talking to my family though. I would have full conversations with my sister, even when I couldn't understand her. I loved them all so much. Then God just had to take all of it away from me.
I got put into an orphanage for 2 years, then I finally got adopted by a younger couple, they were both around 25 or 26. They loved me so much, I loved them too. They didn't have any other kids at the time they adopted, but a couple months later they adopted another boy a year younger than me. His name is Danny. I love Danny so much. He is my little idiot.
When I was adopted at 14, I was so happy. I may not have seem liked it, but I was. I never talked, and I still don't. I only talked to my new parents when it was very necessary. Although I didn't talk to them, I talked to Danny all the time. In private of course. We never talked to anybody outside of our rooms.
Something that I also like about Danny, he doesn't judge. He told me a couple months after he was adopted that he was bisexual and I totally respected him because of it. He was also the one that made me realize I was gay as well. We were out at the mall one day and I kept staring at this poster of Adam Levine shirtless. Danny constantly asked me why I was staring when we got home and I said because he looked handsome. He then went to his room and got his computer and came back. He pulled up some porn sight and showed me a video a girl and boy then a boy and boy and he asked me which one looked more appealing to me. I told him the boy and boy. He then asked me which WAY looked more appealing. I said the guy getting the dick up his ass. That's basically how it went.
Just because Danny is younger than me, it didn't mean he didn't know more. Because trust me, he knew so much more than me. His background was worse than mine. His family basically sold him to both men and women and they would rape him. His family eventually got arrested and thats how he ended up with us. I loved Danny dearly and he loved me. We were inseparable. We even made him take summer classes just so we could be in the same grade so we were always with each other.
Even though this family isn't my original family, I still love them as they were. I have loving parents that support me for being gay. And also a loving brother by side to make sure I don't get hurt by any boys.
Life was great, up until the point I was in senior year.
