Chapter 28- To forgive and Forget

Juvia's P.O.V
I decided to wear my knee high dark dress, I had a brown belt strapped across my waist. Which was adorned with four, symmetrically placed, light-colored buttons on my chest. I let my hair fall in thick waves down my back.
I also wore a matching Russian-style hat, sylized with a yellow butterfly clip Gray-sama got for me from a job.
Gray-sama is so kind!!
It's soon going to be our
2 week anniversary and I am set on getting him a gift that I hope he'll love.

When I finished getting dressed, I made my way to the guild.
While I walked happily towards the guild hall, two very familiar faces strolled up to me.
I really wanted to see them, but somewhere deep inside of me was petrified.

"Hi..." Zoku lowered his head and Dune just stared at me blankly.
"Hello, h-how's it going?" I mumbled, I didn't know what else to say them.
They both looked at each other and then they looked at me.
"Listen, we aren't here to make small talk..." Dune said quite bluntly, with no emotion in his 'face' (he was still wearing his mask)

"Well, make it quick" A dark haired, majestic looking man stood in front of me.
"Gray-sama..."
Oh ...no, I forgotten to tell him that they were manipulated by Aulock.
He won't listen to me, but I'll have to try.

He shot me one of the scariest glares I've ever seen in my life. I knew
Gray-sama could be scary, but I was beyond terrified.
"They didn't do anything wrong" I tried to explain, but he was having none of it.
"Juvia! You're sticking up for them! Did you completely forget about what happened to you in the forest!" he shouted.

This isn't going well at all.

"I'm not..Well I am...They were apologizing" I exclaimed and he just looked at them in disgust.
They shrugged and lowered their head.
"After what they did to you? You have got to be kidding me!"

"Gray-sama!" I shouted.
I don't like shouting at Gray-sama, but to get him to listen is the only way.

His eyes widened as he noticed me raising my voice a little.
"T-they didn't have anything to do with what happened to me, they were being manipulated by Aulock" I said as quickly as I can and a little nervously.

He just stared at me then at them,
"We are sincerely sorry, we didn't have control over our body and we hope that you'll-" Zoku let out while Dune kept his eyes on the floor.
"I forgive you" I smiled.
Yeah, they might of put me through a little bit of hell, but I now know that it wasn't them. I won't blame them for what happened and to be honest it doesn't really effect me as much as before.
What happened in the past, shall stay in the past.

Zoku looked at me and smiled.
Dune was wearing a mask but the way he raised his head to look at me, made me feel happy.
He was definitely grinning too.

They both asked if could be friends and stay in touch, I, of course said yes without any regrets.
Just remembering when I was child with no friends, now here I am.
I have friends in Fairy Tail, Gray-sama and I am making more friends.
A spark of excitement flowed throughout my body.

Before they left, Gray-sama called them out and they both stopped to turn around to face him.
"Hey.....I-I'm sorry...For accusing you and, yeah" He told them, making me feel very proud of him.
They both nodded and walked off.

"Hey, Juvia. I really didn't mean-"
I cut him off by wrapping my arms around his torso as tightly as possible (Not too tight, I don't want Gray-sama dying on me >.<)
"Juvia?..." he tensed up a bit.
I looked up at him and gave him a toothy smile, "Gray-sama is so cute when he apologizes"
A heavy coat of embarrassment dusted on his cheeks, soon his whole face was red as a Erza's hair.
He hesitatingly placed his hands on my back.
So cute!

After a short hugging session, he unhooked my arms and placed them by my side.
I pouted, "No fair..."
He smirked and scratched the back of his neck, "Do you want to..."
He sweatdropped.
He inhaled, then exhaled "Go on a date?"

I blinked a numerous amount of times, "Another date?!" I looked at him cheerfully.

Gray's P.O.V
Another Date? What is she even talking about ...
Does she really count that skimpy maid cafe as a date?

"Ah, I guess..?" I raised my eyebrow a bit.
"So we aren't going to the guild today?"
"If you want then-"
"N-No, I-I..want to go on the d-date" she stammered.

I sighed and she then spoke again, "Should I get changed? I don't think I look okay..."
"You look fine"
"I..I look fine?!" She said in a low voice.

Did I say something wrong?

"So, j-Juvia doesn't look beautiful to Gray-sama...?" She crossed her arms and faced away from me.

Why did I say fine? She's speaking third person...shit

"N-no you didn't let me finish.. I was meant to say-"
She started to laugh, "I was just kidding" she punched my arm so softly I barely felt it.
She has a dark sense of humor.

She clutched her arms around my right arm, pressing her breasts against my arm.
I could feel the redness in my cheeks, again.
"Let's go, Gray-sama!"
"Alright"
