Rama, Lakshmana and the Tratika Demon

It was afternoon, but the thick trees made the atmosphere so dark and not a single ray of light would reach the ground. In the forest, wild animals are freely roaming here and there. The frightening noises of wild animals and birds would be heard. In certain places, hisses of snakes and othe reptiles could also be heard.

Rama: Why is the forest so horrfying, Goji? And why are there no people here?

Goji: Good question, Rama. You see, it was not a forest earlier. This, was a wealthy and prosperous state. But a man-eating monster named Tratika, devastated the state. She ate all the innocent people, wrecked all the manmade objects. None could survive her hunger and cruelty. Gradually, this state was destroyed. After sometime, a forest began to grew here. It is believed that Tratika still lives here. It made a disturbance to those innocent people and the holy deeds. Kill Tratika and make your states prosperous again.

Rama: But Goji, killing a woman? KIlling a woman is known to be a great offense, isnt it?

Goji: ...

Rama: Somehow, it doesn't seem right.

Goji: Rama, [places his hand to Rama's shoulder] For the welfare of mankind, it is right. Tratika is a monster in the eyes of a woman. A monster!! She has killed man, woman, child, aged and sages! In such a situation, killing her would be unfair and injustice!! YOU are the only one who can kill her.

Rama: I understand. I must do what is right. I must do it for the sake of my people and justice.

Rama entrusted his words and began to tighten his bow string. And then, they began to hear the sound of thunder, the sound of loud laughter could be heard!!
It is afternoon, the darkness gave an impression of light, after this, a woman with a gigantic body stand before their way! Her white sharp teeth came out of her mouth! Eyes were blazing red with a glimpse of a demon's. Nails were long and sharp like a tiger's claws. Listening from a cruel lauighter, even the birds flew away! Hearing her evil voice, wild animals like lions and tigers would hide inside their cave

Rama and Lakshmana were very brave men. They did not scream nor even flinch. Glaring eyes looked down on them.

Goji: Rama, Laksmana, this is the monster who killed all the innocent people. She can disguise herself as a human or an animal. This monster fools travelers and later on, she will kill them! Eat them! Eat their flesh and drink on their blood. You now see her horrifying look, didn't you Rama? 'Why should I kill a woman?' Don't let that get over your head! Rama, kill her without any hesitation. We are protecting people and holy deeds and godesses. Killing such a woman isn't an offense in your religion.

While saying all of this, the monster laughed out loudly. And her mouth started watering , her thirst for blood kindled.
With a loud thumpong noise made by a haevy steps, she started running here and there! Due to her heavy steps the clouds of dusts rose higher. Even she, wasn't that visible to Rama. The monster started lifting brickstones and threw it at them,

 Rama: I'll handle this.

Rama shot his arrows at her arms. And both her arms was detached from her body. She screamed in vain, becoming more furious and more destructed. Rama came forward and pierced his arrows to Tatrika's nose and ears.
She decided to disguise herself into a seoerately lucid forms.

Goji: Rama, you must kill her before the sun sets.

Rama: Understood.

And then, Rama took his most powerful arrow and aimed at Tratika's chest. There was a flash of lightning and a sudden scream! The gigantic horryfying body fell down like a huge tree with a loud bang. On Tartika's death, all the demi gods felt happy. Goji was a happy and contented, he hugged Rama and Lakshmana and blessed them, patting them on their backs.

Goji: I happy for you Rama
