A/N The dorms in this story are apartment like and not the collage dorm style
Throughout my life I was wanting to become a hunter so the moment my uncle offered me a spot at his school I was completely overjoyed. I said that would be the best thing ever and I would love to be a student at his school. So that day my uncle signed me up for up and I was given a pass so I could to visit Beacon. He even allowed me to design and build a weapon with the help of the teachers. When I entered the forge I was like a little kid in a very large candy store. I was there for a few hours with Glynda Goodwitch when I suddenly found a dusty blueprint hidden on a small shelf that had my mom's name on it. When I pulled it out and saw the name I fell to my knees and started to cry as the dark memory of my parents murder came back to me. Glynda knelt down next to me and hugged me as I cried. I was lost in my emotions as I held onto her not wanting to do anything but stay in her warm embrace. When I did finally calm down she helped me build the scythe my mom designed. After months of failures, we finally finished the compactable weapon. I then asked Glynda if she could help me engrave the name my mom gave it into the blade with her magic. She smiled and agreed to help me with the engraving, but as I was carefully folding up the blueprint I noticed a strange marking on the it. I then remember that there was a drawer in my uncle's office with the same mark. I carefully put the blueprint into my backpack and put my scythe into its sheath mode before placing it into my backpack. I then ran out of the forge and to my uncle's office. When I got there he looked up at me and smiled, but I just ran to the drawer and pulled on the knob. I was a little frustrated and saddened as it didn't open. I was about to force it open, that was until I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder. I looked behind me at the person and found my uncle standing there looking at me. He smiled softly as he unlocked the drawer with a key he had always worn around his neck.
"Your father wanted me to wait until your 21st birthday to give you these Gauntlets," he said as he took out the items in the drawer. "He loved you so much so he made these for you personally. They are made with military grade black-steel so it is very hard to damage or even break."
My legs felt like jello, but I stade standing as my uncle placed the gauntlets into my hands. I stared at the Vantablack and red shotgun gauntlets and fell apart as I hugged my dads gift close to my heart. I felt my uncle hug me as well as Ms. Goodwitch.
"Blade you should go home get some sleep tomorrow will be your first day here," Glynda said as she led me out of the school and to beacons airship docking center. I got on board an airship that took me to an Airship docking center in Vale. Once I got off I walked home with both my new weapons and as I walked I decided to call my scythe by the name on the blueprint 'Death Raider'. The moment I reached the apartment building my uncle bought for me I went inside and to my room to sleep.
I woke up the next morning while it was still dark so I could get ready. I took a quick shower before getting dressed in my new hunter's outfit. Once I finished getting dressed I looked into my full wall mirror and looked at myself. I was wearing black jeans, black combat boots, a red t-shirt, a black leather jacket, and my fathers mask. I grabbed Death Raider and put her into her sheath mood. I then grabbed my shotgun gauntlets which were a gift from my father before I ran out of my house and to the Airship station I smiled to myself when I saw them opening the bay doors. I quickly ran inside and took a spot farthest away from the others who were boarding. I took off my mask and sighed as I sat on the floor. I started loading my gauntlets with fire dust shells as the shuttle doors closed. The shuttle became very loud as it took off, and as we too to the air a girl with blond hair noticed me and came over. She smiled only to frown when she noticed my Gauntlets.
"They look just like mine," she said eyeing me.
"These where a gift from my father," I said shrugging and loaded the last dust round inside. I remained sitting on the floor for a while waiting before getting up. As I got to my feet to took hold of my fathers mask and put it on. As I did this people began to stare at me confused as I put on the gauntlets. I grabbed Death Raider from the floor and strapped her onto my hip as I stared outside the window. Not long from the point I started to stare from the window Beacon Academy came into view. A few minutes later the news that had been playing stopped and a familiar woman came on. I looked out of the window and a smile spread across my face. It didn't take long before everyone pushed me away from the window and started talking excitedly. As the Airship docking center came into view I went to the bay door and pride it open which scared everyone inside. I then jumped onto the Airship docking centers roof once it got close before I walked to the side of the building that the main entrance was at and jumped off. I landed and preformed a role before I started to make my way to Beacon's gardens which lead to the auditorium, but before I could get far my favorite future teacher stormed up to me.
"Oh he's in trouble." I heard a few kids say as they laughed.
"Are you insane?!" the teacher half asked half yelled worried.
"What I didn't want to be on that shuttle any longer?!" I said a little annoyed. "But I'm sorry I worried you."
"Your mom did the exact same thing when we first arrived here and she got hurt," she said softly.
As she said this I teared up at the memory her murder which caused my aura to flare up which scared a few of the new students. After a few seconds, I realized what was going on and I apologized for causing any problems.
"It's okay just try to learn to control your emotions while you're here okay. I don't like to see you sad." Glynda said as she hugged me.
She walked away as the kids started running to the auditorium where my uncle walked up and started talking.
"I'll...keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge--to hone your craft and acquire new skills. And when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose--direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step." Ozpin said.
"Okay student we'll head to the locker room first before we head to the ballroom so you can get some sleep for tomorrow." Glynda said smiling.
Glynda then lead everyone to the locker room and gave everyone a locker, but she lead me to a locker that looked a little different. "This will be your locker for your time at Beacon," she told me. "It's the only locker Ozpin refuses to let others use sense it belonged to our father."
I hugged her before storing my weapons and then headed to the ballroom to get some sleep. The moment I got there I found an area I liked, but some asshole shoved me to the ground causing a loud cracking noise to be heard. I winced in pain as I sat up. I held my arm as some girl walked up to me. "Here let me see me see that." she said but I waved her off.
"Nothing to worry about should be healed up before midnight." I said setting my sprained or even broken arm.
I guess the guy noticed how calm I was at this and walked away from us a little freaked out. I however just got comfortable and fell asleep.
