It was a cold autumn day when you shook up his whole world. It was just like today. The wind chilled him to his core, sitting on that bench in the park, staring up at the sky through the red-orange leaves of the tall oak trees that towered over him. The day he met you was in this park. He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, and opened the messenger.

"I'm failing all of my classes," Yoosung complained, and he chuckled to himself.

'That's because you're always gaming,' he thought, hints of a smile pulling at his lips. But he knew that wasn't the only reason. His cheeks were flushed pink from the cold, and the tip of his nose was beginning to redden. He glanced up, debating whether or not he should gather his things and go, when he saw you.

He found himself at a loss for words. Him! Saeyoung always had something to say! You were just so captivating, so stunning, so... interesting. Saeyoung didn't even know he was watching you so intensely until you looked up from your phone to glance around and take in your surroundings. Your eyes met his golden hues, and he felt like you were staring into his soul.

Startled and a bit embarrassed, he tore his gaze away from your figure, turning his head to look back down at his own phone.

"I just saw the most beautiful person, ever," he told the others, receiving a fast reply from Zen.

"Oh? Were you looking at my photo?"

Saeyoung internally cringed at Zen's response, typing as fast as he could just to make sure no one played off of Zen's joke. Saeyoung sent in a shocked emoji before adding, "how did you know?!", laughing as his own joke.

"Wait, really?!" Zen sent in his own surprised emoji to punctuate his exclamation.

"Haha, nope," Saeyoung teased.

"Seven, I swear..."

"Zen's beauty is not to be made fun of," Jaehee commented, using her own emoji to express her admiration for Zen.

"That's right!"

Obviously, Zen agreed, and Saeyoung apologized.

He lifted his head back up to see if you were still there, but you had vanished.

Where you even really there?

He tilted his head back resting it against the bench, gazing up aimlessly at the bright blue sky, the passing clouds that floated by so slowly.

"I did it again," he sighed.

It was the third time it had happened this month, alone. He lifted the phone above his head with his right hand. The others were still chatting like they always were.

"Cringing!" Was Yoosung's response to the joke Saeyoung had made before, but despite getting the reaction he wanted from him, he couldn't bring himself to smile. Instead, he shoved his phone back into his pocket, closed his eyes, and turned his body so he was laying on the bench, his back pressed against the wood.

He pushed his glasses to his forehead as his hands rubbed at his eyes. He wanted to cry. 'Don't cry, Saeyoung Choi. Don't you fucking dare shed a single tear,' He told himself, but before he could stop it, they began to pour down his cheeks, marring his face with the trails they left.

He didn't want to accept the facts this time. They must have lied to him. Yeah, there's no way this could be happening... Right?

A choked sob escaped him, body shaking as memories from his past, from his life, rained down on his mind. Why couldn't he forget? Why couldn't he move on?

He shielded his eyes from the sky with his arm, his other hand gripping his shirt, bunching the thin fabric together at his chest, right above his heart. 'It hurts...'
