Golden Butterfly

Walking on a trail, one bright September day
I watch you
You seem to say
Follow me
Come this way

Golden wings
Like a sunbeam
Unlike many things
I've ever seen

Fluttering around
To and fro
You don't seem
To know where to go

I follow you
Like a lost pup
And suddenly
I happen to look up

Swarms of gold
Flutter through the air
I can't help
But stop and stare

I think back to that day
When I feel blue
Now that I'm old and frail
It's all I can do

As I take my last breath
I can't help but remember
The golden butterflies
On that day in September

What do you guys think? I wrote it randomly and my friend Donatellosgirl0110 loved it so I posted it here.
