"Scorpius, just ask her to the ball already!" I pushed my best friend over to my other, Rose. The blonde headed boy shook his head vigorously. "She's going to say no, I just know it!"

I groaned, grabbing the books from his hands and combining them with my own. "You won't be getting these back until you do." I nodded my head sternly, feeling pretty confident of myself. Scorpius looked from Rose to me, until a smug look came across his pale face.

"If you want me to ask Rose, why don't you spend a little bit of time actually interacting with Yoongi?"

The smirk across his lips didn't fade as I looked over to the boy walking down the hallway, his hands lazily shoved in his pockets, his ambition wasn't clearly ever shown, but I'm curious to find out what it is that makes him a Slytherin.

"Maybe he's like me, just born into it."

I must've spoken aloud because Scorpius clearly heard my observations on my classmate. "Oh no, I can see why you're one." Teasing him, I gave him his books back. "You can have these back, there's absolutely no bloody way I can talk to Yoongi and no way in hell are you going to ask Rose. Good day sir."

I curtsied jokingly and walked swiftly to my next class with Professor Longbottom. A class I just so happened to have with Yoongi. Plus, Professor Longbottom was my favorite Professor, along with Hagrid of course. Everyone loves the giant guy.

"Good morning, Professor!" I smiled kindly before taking my seat, one of the first students in the class. Professor Longbottom chuckled, shaking his head as he flipped through a textbook. "You remind me so much of Ms. Granger."

I heard this comment more than usual, but I didn't mind because Hermione Granger was a great wizard I look up to. She battled alongside Harry Potter, Professor Longbottom, Ron Weasley and my parents in the battle of Hogwarts and won. And now she's head of the ministry, that's bloody bad ass.

"Professor...what was he like?" I asked curiously, I've read about Voldemort in books but they never had gone into detail. I guess it was too soon to talk about such an evil man. Professor looked at me, surprised at my question and shook his head. "Voldemort is dead, and that's all there is to him."

I dug no further, seeing that it was a touchy subject for everyone. I could see the hurt from all the ones who were lost in the war. I should know, my parents both risked their lives for my safety. They left me behind to go fight the bad guy because they wanted my future to be bright.

Tears slightly brimmed my eyes thinking about them. I shook it off though, I had to keep my head held high because my parents wouldn't want me to have tears.

Students started to enter the old castle doors, filling the spots at the desk, leaving the only empty seat next to mine. I looked around and saw Yoongi wasn't here yet. Wonders erupted through my brain, the boy was so mysterious, a couple rumors had floated around about him being a death eater.

People always do assume Slytherins are bound to be evil and have some association to Voldemort. I'd never believe that, I've met too many good people in Slytherin. Plus, every house has it's less than good people. Well, except Hufflepuff. They're just nice all around.

Professor Longbottom started the class, teaching us about taking care of certain roots of an herb. And about midway of the class, the Slytherin boy entered the classroom, apologizing to professor before sitting next to me. He let out a breath as he sat down, getting out his notes.

Yoongi seemed to have his mind on everything other than the lesson, his eyes boring into the chalk board. A yawn spilling out of his chapped lips here and there.

"Alright class, I'll be giving you all plants that you have to take care of in the next month. You're going to have to learn how to exactly keep it safe, how to feed it, what temperament it needs, and what makes it thrive. In the end, you'll be making a potion in potions class with the herbs you harvest from you assigned plant. You can pick one other person to do this with. Choose wisely." Professor Longbottom said, writing everything needed on the board.

I looked around for anyone to partner with, my eyes going to my friend Ariel but she had already partnered with someone else. I really need more friends.

I heard a soft clear of the throat next to me, "Hey Lupin, wanna partner up for this thing?" My heart started pumping really fast, just happy to hear that he knew my name...well last name. (Let's just pretend Lupin and Tonks had a girl)

I couldn't find the right words to spill out, my body and thoughts completely frozen. "U-uh sure..." Finally getting out a word of agreement, my brain came back to the real world, seeing the blonde Slytherin next to me.

His lips formed a small smile before returning his head to the palm of his hand, looking bored at the clock.

"So, I'll just come around and assign you the plant you'll be taking care of." Professor Longbottom got his clipboard and started to walk around the classroom, writing each pair's names and plant. A few moments later and he was at our table. "Alright, we got Ms. Lupin and Mr. Min." He wrote the two names down and looked back up. "I'll be giving you two the Fanged Geranium, I trust you two will be able to handle this challenging herb." The professor nodded in approval before going on to the next pair.

"Great, we get the hardest plant to take care of." Yoongi mumbled to himself, rubbing his face in his hands. "It shouldn't be that hard, I've read a lot about it..."

Yoongi's eyes made their way slowly over to my mine. "You sure do read a lot, don't you?"

I nodded slowly, silently bashing myself for saying such a nerdy comment. "Hey, book nerds like you are cute, don't beat yourself up about it."

My head tilted up towards him, surprised by his comment, my cheeks turning a slight pink, making him chuckle. "You're so innocent little one, keep it that way." He patted his palm on my head gently.

This caused my cheeks to get pinker, my heart picking up exponentially in the number of beats per minute. I had no idea why it had to be Yoongi that could do this to me, he was so quiet and reserved and mysterious. I guess I just became so curious of him, I started to become intrigued by him.

Getting caught up in my thoughts, class had already ended. I quickly got my books together and led myself out of the door, mumbling a quiet goodbye to Yoongi and a thank you to professor Longbottom.

"Hey Nara, did you talk to you know who?" Scorpius elbowed me as he followed next to me. "Actually, I did."

"Wow...how?" He laughed, holding his books close to his lanky chest. "I'm not sure, but we're partners for a project." I bit my lip, restraining myself from smiling. "So does that mean?"

I nodded, my smile turning into a satisfied one. "Yep! But I have to go to my dorm first, I want to change.."

"Alright, lets go." He smiled, leading the way to my dorm. "Okay, Scorpius....one, I'm a Gryffindor, and I'm a girl. For the last time in our 4 years of knowing each other will I tell you that you're not allowed in. Rose would kill you too." I let out a small laugh, quickly getting onto the staircase that was moving to the singing lady.

Waving goodbye, I entered the dormitory, welcomed by the colors of red and gold.
