For years the human race has tried to find evidence that the Earth is is not the only planet that can sustain life. That in another galaxy, there is a new species they can conquer.
There isn't.
The making of Earth was purely a series of fortunate events, there is nothing else of life-changing importance out there.
But the humans still search, going further and further into The Void... Or Space. As they call it.
They should have searched more closer to home, way more closer.
Because then, they might have noticed that small, glowing crack in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Maybe, just maybe, they might have noticed their Alien species is right there on Earth below them.
Oh, they noticed us sooner or later.
But by then, it was too late.
