Xibyl Winters was adopted at a young age, she never endured the horrors of foster homes and can't remember anything from before Lillian and Kristofer Winters. She's a good Christian girl, daughter of a preacher in fact, but like any young adult she is rebellious and loves to have fun. With her rocker look and her sweet disposition she has always been a bit of a head turner.
But what happens when she attracts the wrong kind of attention?
Cabal is an ancient demonic incubus, absorbing souls through sex and death since he was created in the dark. Bound to the human plane by a curse he received for wooing a witch's soul he believes the powerful brush of an intriguing soul might be the key to his freedom. And when he discovers that soul just happens to be attached to a beautiful woman he can't resist returning to his old tricks. He certainly doesn't see the problem with taking the delicious morsel.
