Trap in a foreign spot, Jack stroll his eyes around his surroundings which was nothing but a dark cave. The ground was bumpy, if he wasn't careful then a sprain in an ankle is what he'll surely get. But despite a very dark cave with sharp edged stalagmites pointing from above, an old bridge was spotted out if nowhere. With the dark devouring the cave, something that will lead out of nowhere, its never wrong to try something out of the ordinary. Jack stumble his foot at the bridge before walking, road close and stiff like one mistake could lead to another fall. He wouldn't want that, he'd already fell a long time ago and was not willing to repeat it. Jack study his surroundings, amazed and anxious at the same time. Although he's unsure how it's possible to feel both ."Okay.. Of all places I think I have fall on a mine." Jack conclude. "Well everything seems normal for a mountain, except for a bridge that I'm walking at."
To be lost in the dark is like losing a soul, empty and despair, too alone that Jack began talking himself and despite finding it unordinary he doesn't care. No one but the dark would see him anyways. Jack's first steps came fine but came making a wrong slip that almost breach his stand when stumbled at a broken brick, lucky he was careful enough to prevent a fall.
"Ahhh" he swallowed his throat soon as he's standing again. "You can do this Jack. You had seen worser." He said to himself, lifting his foot back on track, now keeping both his feet at the stiff road.
Soon as he had fixed his stand, a random spark then beam across Jack's glasses, dazzling and capturing his attention at the same time. He quickly shut his eyes, raising one hand to shade his eyes from the sudden light, to afraid of what it might be. A light's not always something good for even the fairest rose owns the sharpest thorns. Beauty is dangerous for the eyes is the greatest deciever. Jack opened his eyes, slowly lifting his head as he glance across the source of the light. He's too distant that he couldn't classify what it is.
"This is getting weirder and weirder every step." Jack complained yet endeavoring to reach it.
After several steps, slight slips and trials to balance, Jack was able to reach the end only to meet a mirror that spills tears at its aluminum glass. It's shape's as round as the earth, gold in its frame and its glass is soaked in water. It came flashing as old and ancient, to antic for Jack's new generation, despite the fact that he had noticed a certain pattern from the mirror's structure. He lay his hand at the soaked glass, finding it obscure for the water doesn't soak.
"Okay?" Jack gulped, finding everything so odd that his sanity might slip. "First is a strange bridge found inside a mountain then next is this? A crying mirror or Mirror lake what ever.. What else does this place have? A time Machine?" he joked, knowing it can't.
But it can.
The soaked glass began to glister, from a tiny spark it expands till the it's completely coated in a glistering luminous that is as bright as a morning sun. Cautious or amazed, confused which to react. Amazed coz the light is pretty but cautious for what it might do. Soon the shinning light began to swirl, curiosity made Jack stare, capturing both his eyes until he found himself looking back at something haven't seen for a long time.
The moon is so deep, as well as the sky that dims to a vail of Darkness. No stars we're visible to shine the tenebrous as if the somber is dead, today is a tragedy and even the universe feels the same way. Death is too eminent to see the jealous light.
"Jack.. I want you to do me a favor." Jack's mom urge with her eyes lock at his amethyst ones, soft but trembles as it prevents to tears.
"What is it mother?" Jack faced her dearly, seen in her look that she knows that she wont make it.
