Now that Jack is my dad and school has started everyone is suddenly being really nice to me. Besides my already best friends of course. I just saw one person I was negatively effected by it though. My best friend Jake. I sorta had a crush on him and he had one on me too.

One day at the end of school I can up to Jake and confronted him about it. "Hey Jake! How are you doing?" He seemed a bit brighter once he noticed it was me. "Hey Y/N! I am good, why do you ask?" My expression drops.

"I ask because... you seem to be the only one upset by Jack being my dad." His expression drops too. "I... I... I don't mean it like that I just... I am just being selfish. I really like you Y/N and I... I hate seeing you with all the other guys here." I smile a bit. "Thank you Jake for being honest with me and... I like you too."

We both smile. "Will you-?" Jake is Jack running out of his classroom so, we could go home. Bad thing was is that Jake and I were holding hands now and Jack saw us. "Y/N! Time t-"

When he got close enough to see what we were doing Jack stop with his joyous voice. "Jake, I thought I could trust you with my daughter." He grunted out loudly. "I, um." Jake swallowed and took a deep breath.

"Jack, I love your daughter and I wanna be with her until I die." I blushed at Jake's words. "I see. Well, let's see how this goes." Jack wasn't mad anymore after we were honest so, we were off the hook. "See ya tomorrow Y/N!"

"See ya Jake!" Jack and I head off home for the night. 'Sorry... Jack...'
