CH 1 -Just a Nightmare

(DREAM)

I saw nothing but darkness, I looked around and saw a bright white light I walked toward it and realize it was beautiful white wings. But the rest of the body was a nightmare, scars everywhere and the blood dripping from the body, I walked toward the figure and touch the figures shoulder and...

(SHE WAKES UP)

I flutter my eyes open, my body is sore and my stomach is killing me, I'm laying on something roughe I look around. I'm layong on something rocky and hard. I used  my arms to sit up now I'm on my knees. I looked around and I realize I'm laying in the middle of the road, some cars are flipped over and some are on fire, the sky is just plain grey not a speck of sun, all you see is sadness and despair.

What am I doing in the middle of the road anyways?

I finally got the strength to get up, my legs were a little wobbly but I mange to calm myself self down. I walked straight and looked around more and saw everything destroyed, all the houses has holes, broken windows, and sometimes under that destruction would be lifeless body's.

I walked in to one of the houses that looked like it was destroyed by a fire, you would think the outside was bad. It didn't even compare to the nightmare in side. I saw a picture on one of the tables, it had a beautiful family.

2 little girls with a boy next to them that looked about 15, and two parents holding all of them together. I explored a little more and found a full length mirror and stared at my reflection I was shocked at what I saw, I had bruises everywhere and scars and I was wearing jean shorts with a brown belt and a white button up shirt with black and white convers. I have long brown hair with blue eyes, weird. Its like I have never seen myself.

Have I?

Wait, who the hell am I anyways, my name is... uh.... oh my god. I DONT KNOW WHO I AM!! Questions started filling up my head like, What's my name? Where am I from, How old am I? Then one question I asked my self hit me hard that I wanted to cry.

Do I live in one of these houses? I ran outside and looked around and all the houses where completely destroyed, full of rebel. The ones that were still standing had no roof or got on fire, tears started to go down my face.

Who's my family? What happened to them? Do I even still have a family? I dropped on my knees and started sobbing. Why can't I remember anything. I cried for a while until I finally cleaned my self up and started walking straight.

I don't know where I am going but maybe I can look for others that could help me, if not look for shelter for the night because it's getting dark and right now I'm in a nightmare and I don't want my nightmare to get worse, even if I'm out in the open like this.

<2 HOUR LATER>

I have been walking for it seems like forever, I cant find any shelter that looks safe for me to stay and sadly I'm still alone. It's quite, all you hear is the sound of the wind blowing the dirt and rebel around, and the leafs dancing around to the wind.

But that quietness stops when I hear something like a roar but more from a machine I look around and when I looked to my side I see a huge monster tuck coming my way and I hear people inside it yelling "WOAH"  and "YEA BABY STEP ON IT" I got scared because the people who are yelling do not look like people who could help. My heart stops when I heard someone say "HEY WHAT'S THAT"?  pointing into my direction.

My eyes widen and ran away to hide, I heard someone from the truck yell "I DONT KNOW, BUT I GEUSS ITS HUNTING SEASON" and everyone laughs. I run with all my might and when I think I am far enough I hide behind some rebel and dirt and some pieces of a broken down house is surrounding me. I lay on my stomach to go down lower and look throe a small opening to see if they are near.  I hear the truck stop but I don't see it, now it's quit.
