Hopeful ran around the back yard chasing the boys around. While I sat with the sun blazing on my bare back. I wore a strapless bikini top and unhooked the back to get a tan.
I was quite light skinned but being in Alabama I got a little darker. Not by much but a little.
My blonde hair flowing down to my hips. I clipped my bikini top, got up and slipped my legs into the pool. The cool water calming my nerves.
I sat down on the edge of the pool splashing my legs back and forth. I see Hopeful's shadow as she walks up behind me."Wanna swim Cassy?" Hopeful asked.

"Sure Hope." I said smiling at her.

She pulled off her dress and stood in her 1-piece bathing suit. I stood up standing on the ledge as Hope walked up to me."On three," Looking at her as I spoke "One. Two. Three!" We jumped in the pool.

Surfacing I looked around for Hopeful. I could see her silhouette above the water. I dove underneath closing my eyes before going under. I opened them as I was underwater and looked around for Hope. She wasn't where I had seen her earlier. I panicked.

All of the sudden I was grabbed from behind,I freaked causing me to suck in a breath of water. Not comfortable. I resurfaced as fast as possible and started coughing, water coming out about as slowly as you could say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Ya awhile right?

As soon as I regained myself, I looked around to find Hope laughing her ass off. "Not funny." I glared at her.

She seen my face and shut up. "Sorry." She mumbled under breath.

She looked as if she was gonna cry. I swam to her as I embraced her in a hug. "Awe its okay, shhhh." I hushed as she cried on my shoulder.

It's been a few days since Hopeful's aunt and uncle took her in. I've felt better knowing she'll be okay.

Well let's get rid of the depressing stuff. I walk down the stairs and walk into the kitchen. To smell the most amazing smell ever. Mmmm pancakes. I mentally moaned.

I seen Amber making pancakes, eggs and bacon. "That smells amazing!" I jumped.

"I hope it tastes as good as it smells, I'm using a new recipe!" Amber replied excitedly.

She started fixing plates right as the boys got down from upstairs. "Mmmm, what's that smell?" They said in unison.

I took a bite of my pancake and moaned. "The best thing in the world. It tastes like heaving in my mouth!" I spoke exasperatedly. (Yeah I know, long word🤣)

They all dug into their pancakes and moaned. "You were right. It's heaven in my mouth!" Carson said.

After breakfast I showered and put on jean shorts, and a grey tank crop top. I let my hair air dry and kept it wavy and loose.

I put on my no-show socks and black converses on walking out into the hallway.

I decided I wanted to go take some photos of the area. I mean the area is beautiful why not?

Amber got me a nice Canon camera that is connected to my printer and phone via wifi.

I walk out the door yelling I'll be back. Walking around for a while I find an old barn that looked vacant.

Walking in I look around. Streaks of light peer through the small windows, giving off just enough light to make the room glow.

You could see the dust flowing through the air. I kneel down to get a good angle. I get a few shots and started venturing through the barn.

I decided to climb up into the rafters. Multiple sliding doors let in a good amount of light. The warmth the sun gave off sent shivers down my spine.

I've always loved climbing, so I hoisted myself up on top of the rafters and stood up. I wobbled a little bit, but found my balance.  I walked across the beams to an open window.

Sitting at the edge I grab my camera and take a couple shots of the field. I hear the barn door open causing me to jump. I lost my balance and started falling.

I close my eyes waiting for impact. But it never came, instead I feel a pair of arms embrace me. "Jeez, you really are falling for me." They said chuckling.

I open my eyes to see a smiley Mason looking down at me.

Sorry for not posting recently. I'll try a little harder to juggle. I hope you liked this chapter!!!! It's not really long but it's what I'll give you for now.
