Heroes

Heroes are misjudged. Some people see heroes as powers and capes. Some see them as cops, firemen, and people at war. I view heroes as anyone. Listed above, ya those are heroes but how are we? Kids in school are heroes, villains, and seers. The heroes are those who see a loner and be friend them. The heroes are those who help those who have lost their way. Heroes are those who do good. Even evil sometimes. Villains are those who make the loners. Villains are the bullies. Villains are the ones who bring us down and make us feel bad about who we are as a person. The seers just love their lives. They don't do or know anything. They just go along with what ever happens. They see over everything but they never help or say anything. The teachers are heroes. They guide us. They are there to help no matter how much you don't want it. If you need a hand there are teachers. Most kids and teens never want to go to their teachers. They never trust them. Teachers truly want to help. They always do and always have wanted to help. They don't know what is wrong you have to go to them, they won't go to you. Singers are heroes. Many now a days express the message of anti-bullying, suicide awareness, and how we are all perfect and amazing in our own ways. You may see that girl with the band tees and think "that so called 'music' is words put to random notes". You may see that scene girl and think "her with her dyed hair, makeup, and piercing... Wow she has been through a lot of shit and she is soooo depressed and looking for attention". You see the girl with the scars and down face and think "why does she do that to herself". Those girls take your words and stares, then put in their headphones and listen to their heroes at work. Their heroes tell the, otherwise and they listen. You see the girl smiling and peppy, well at night she might actually cry herself to sleep. That was me... You see the girl who looks upset well she might have a hard life. She might be a loner. She might want to die. Even it can be a guy. All these people can be guys. He might have divorced parents. He might have a dad who hung himself. He might have a mom with a drug and alcohol problems. He might now live with his grandparents and two younger siblings. That is my friend... He was strong. He had friends to back him up. He had friends to help him. He had his dark days but he stayed strong for his sisters who were young. Some people might not have friends to help. You see that kid all alone, looking upset. Be their friend. You might have just saved a life. You could have made yourself a hero. Stop being a seer and be a hero. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. It can be anyone. Yes even you. I have needed a hero and no one was there for me. I want everyone else to have one. It can change a life. I would know... I have changed lives, you can too. All this time I am only 14 years old, a freshman in HighSchool. I have saved lives and so can you. Anyone can save a life. When you see someone, don't be harsh, be a friend. It might save them. You never know. Going back, yeah you saw those people and labeled them as weird. We are all different. No matter what we look like or our attractions. We are all human.
