Rochelle's POV;

"How long do I have left?" my true love asked, as he stared at me through a glass wall. His chestnut brown eyes, beckoning to me. I missed him , and he missed me.

"Up to 3 to 8 years, love." I told him , my voice cracked. He nodded his head in understanding, and sighed heavily. I did the same.

"I made you your favorite. Spaghetti and Meatballs. " I smiled, trying to cheer him, and also to avoid what I really needed to tell him. "That's great , Rochelle." he gave me a pity smile.

"Princeton."

"Yes?"

"I have to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"Uhh," what do I say. 'Prince , we have a daughter, that you won't be able to see , until she's going to school. Or leaving elementary school.' It would crush. Drive him even closer to cracking. If that's even possible.

"Princeton, I can't wait for you to get out, and come home. " I smiled trying to convince him of my lie.

"Oh, me too , hunny." With that, he hung up the phone. And returned to his prison cell.

What a life I have ,huh?

.

.

"Rochelle!" My sister, Charity , who was now 12 , ran to me. Followed closely behind, is my daughter, Mya. She was so goregous. She had long curly, brown locks. Just like her father, and those eyes that will make , anyone melt. He skin was light brown, mixed with my color, and Princeton's. She had a smile that could blind anyone, and a cute voice that made everyone smile.

"Did you go see daddy, today?" She asked, with fingers in her mouth. "Yes, and he says 'he misses you sooo much.' " I'm lying to my daughter, and she's so innocent that she'll believe anything her "wonderful" mother tells her.

I caught my sister's blistering gaze. She knew I was lying, and she shook her head, and strutted off. I think I'm done with this lying. I'm hurting all the people I love.
