Maddie's POV
"Maddie get up now", my mom yelled.
" ugh 10 more minutes"
"Maddie you have 15 minutes until we have to get the bus" my sister Mackenzie said.
"Aha, well, Kalani got a car so, I'm actually getting picked up in...
5 MINUTES kenzie get out I'm getting ready" Kenz ran out and I got ready ASAP. I usually lag so it was difficult getting ready, I only had 2 minutes left after everything I had to do. No makeup on though. I applied all the essentials and finished just as a car horn beeped.
"Maddie your rides here" my mom yelled I snatched my tumblr inspired bag from mom and got into the car.
"Hey Maddog" Lani said.
"Hello, it's me..."
"Really!" Kalani said exasperated "you know that bugs me!" I shrugged.
"Is my foundation properly rubbed in" I asked as Kalani frowned.
"Why wouldn't it be" Kalani questioned.
"I overslept" my simple reply was.
Kalani's POV
I reapplied my lipgloss then went to my car and put on some tunes. Me and Maddie made small talk in the car. I parked in this place we call school. Me and Madds walked in with confidence. Then they walked over.
"Hey what's up" Candle K said.
"Yeah what is up Candle" Maddie said as if she was reading my mind. Suddenly Kendall's 'crew' came over, basically consisting of her - leader JoJo - clown, and Nia - stalker.
"Get a life Maddie we all know you need one" that bitch Nia said.
"I know you do" was my genius response to protect my mad dog :). Me and Maddie walked away, I noticed Kendall's crush, josh checking Maddie out so I nudged her " Madds go get Josh Kendall's crush" Maddie smirked and smiled at me.
"Hey Joshy"
"Hey Maddie what's up?"
Maddie went all in. She smashed her lips into his and Kendall was fuming. They turned around and Maddie opened her eyes smirking at Kendall. Way to go Madds!!! Kendall's jaw pretty much hit the floor. Maddie handed him a piece of paper that probably had her number on it then
Strutted back over to me, we both gave candle sickly sweet smiles, linking arms and walking away.
"Damn Maddie that was good".
"I know" we grinned at each other and got to our first class, math, which we had together, luckily. If not I would have to deal with Ava Cota, the schools gossip girl constantly nagging me, she thinks she's my friend!

Maddie's POV
"Kalani we need to kick Ava of our table" I whispered to her who just nodded.
"Ava we would really appreciate it if you would, well, get out of my sight, SCRAM" Kalani said to Ava, Ava rolled her eyes and stormed over to Kendall's table. Dramatic much, anyway Me and Lani's table consists of:
Chloe - head cheerleader.
Josh - captain of the football team.
Paige -Chloe's best friend, Josh's sister.
Brooke - she isn't really anything here, she's just cool so we let her sit here.
Nick - a dude that is obsessed with Kalani. He's cool though.
And Mackenzie - My sister.
Candle K's table had
Nia - as I said before, stalker
Jojo - jojo used to be friends with me and Kalani, but she betrayed us.
Brynn - she's kinda like Brooke
You remember Ava - yeah Ava.
Kendall's POV
Some people may say I am mean, and I will admit there have been times when I am, slightly unkind. Like today for example me and my besties Nia and JoJo were walking to our usual table when I, possibly foot tripped Anika, the school nerd. It was funny though. So... well.
"Ugh" moaned when Ava sat down with us. But I then smirked, this would obviously piss Maddie and Kalani off. You see, here's what happened.
Flashback - 5 years ago
"Maddie, Kalani," 11 year old me said, tired from all this looking we were all playing hide and go seek, I couldn't find them, we were the most popular in the whole school and they were my best friends. all of a sudden they both appeared laughing with Starbucks in their hands,
"let's go hide before Kendall realises that we're gone" Kalani said.
"yeah", Maddie said giggling, I cleared my throat, they both looked at me and there eyes widened.
"Oh hey Kendall" Kalani said looking down
"Hey" I said sarcastically.
Flashback over
And that was the end of Kalani, Maddie, and Kendall.
