A few days later, Kevin had finally arrived at the airport. I borrowed my friend's car and took Kirstin with me on a trip to LAX (Los Angeles International Airport).
On the way there, Kirstin told me about the preparation of touring, and how difficult it sometimes was. I didn't really know this, but when they travel, all they do is look at fan gifts. Nice to know!
After a short trip, we'd finally arrived at LAX, and there he was. The living drum set himself.
In Atlanta, Kevin "checked his swole" a lot more than he did back in 2016...he was a lot different. But still, the nice charismatic person we all knew back then.
"Kevin, this is Glenn," She told him. "He's my new friend, who has helped me through my troubles, and got me back on my feet." Well, being her friend is something truly amazing.
"Nice to meet you, Glenn," he said. "Say, aren't you that guy that got me to record 'Prelude' as a track? And the guy that edited that talent show?" I couldn't believe he remembered that. "Yes sir, I am! April 15th, 2016 was the day I suggested that idea. And let's not forget that staggering Tweet you sent out! Oh man, I was just flipping out when I saw that."
We drove him home from the airport and back to my place.
"Well, here it is! Our inlet of solitude! I rented it myself." Kevin was wondering why my house looked so modern. It reminded him of his old house. I wonder if my house is a duplicate of his?
While Kirstin and Kevin were chatting up a storm, I decided to pull out my old recording system. Today's technology hasn't really improved from 2016-just updates of the same old stuff.
"Glenn, I think your idea of bringing back music sounds wonderful! But, there's not a whole lot of time left... I need to get back to Atlanta soon before my next concert." I guess Kevin never left the entertainment industry...great idea!
"Let me think of something. I know it's possible, and in just a few days, too!" I began to think about the different possibilities for a revival of good music. Wait a second...revival! That's it! We'll become the Revivers!
