simon was editing - it was 5:13am - when he got the message from Josh. he was at his parents house at the moment because simon and josh hadn't spoken in a few months.

[05:14:28] daddy: I've found someone better than you, I never really stopped talking to her tbh

simon stared at his computer screen, tears coming from his eyes and dripping onto his desk. three years gone and for what? what was the point in wasting his time over someone so stupid as joshua bradley? simon blinked back tears and typed a reply.
