Chapter 17 (Linn's birthday)

*Harry's POV*

Today's the 17th of November, Linn's 19th birthday. One month ago I finally got her back, everything went back to normal except that almost no one knows about it but when I saw that puppy I knew it belonged to her. The white fur with one black dot on her eye, the black eyes. It was perfect for my angel, I knew it. The puppy was now seated in my lap and I couldn't wait to give to Linn.

My phone went off and a picture of me and Linn appeared on the callers ID along with her name.

"Hey love" I answered and her cute voice appeared on the other end.

"Hi Harry, so you want to come over to my place? I'm home alone on this lovely cold day"

"Hmm... what special day could it be today? Maybe my baby girls birthday?" I said and I heard her adorable giggle through the phone.

"Yeah... please say you can come over"

"'Course I can, I see you in a bit. Love you"

"Love you too bye"

I hung up and walked over to the clothing rack. The puppy following my every move, I put my coat on and then my shoes.

"So why the dog?" Louis' voice broke the silence in the air and I just looked at him.

"W-well, urm it's for a friend" I stuttered out and he folded his arms over his chest.

"Really? Your friend, it's Linn's birthday I'm not stupid. Do you really going to ask her to be yours again on her birthday?" He said and walked closer to me. I picked the puppy up and took my car keys.

"Can we talk about this later? I'm getting late"

"Late for what?"

"I'm back together with Linn okay! Just don't tell anyone" I said and Louis' eyes got big as globes.

"What when how?!" He said in an whisper.

"A month ago, you know on the club"

"Oh Jesus Bloody Mary"

"Yeah just keep it between us" I said before I walked outside the door.

I hid the puppy under my coat and start driving towards Linn's apartment.

I walked up the stairs, my hand slowly reaching the door. I knocked three times before the door opened. Her beautiful face appearing on the other side.

"C'mon in" She said and walked aside letting me inside. The amazing clean smell hitting my nostrils as I I took off my shoes.

"Take off your coat Harry please, you're inside" She said.

"Well I have a surprise for you" I said and pulled the puppy out. Linn's face turned into an adorable smile and I couldn't help but smile either.

"For me?" She said and I placed the puppy in her arms.

"Yeah, happy birthday baby" I said and kissed her temple. Her hands fiddling the collar, finding the name tag.

"Angel.... Did you name her Angel?" She asked and looked up at me.

"Yeah I named her after my own angel" I said and she looked confused at me.

"You're my angel" I said and she put Angel down. She walked up to me and placed her arms around my neck. I placed my hands on either side of her waist. I leaned closer and placed my lips on top of hers. Our lips moved in sync as I pulled her closer.

"Linn! Open the damn door now!" I heard Celina's voice on the other side of the wall.

"Hide in my closet!" Linn said but I shook my head no.

"Why not?"

"I'll hide behind the kitchen counter cause I want to hear what all this fuss is about!" I whispered and hurried to the counter. I heard the door opening and Celina stormed inside.

"Why didn't you tell me about this?" Celina's voice was angry.

"About what?"

"Don't act stupid Linn! You know what I mean. All this sneaking around with Harry, you've been lying to me. You've been playing around with me, acting like you were hurt for two freakin months!" Her voice got higher with every word. I stood up and walked over to Linn. Celina's face looked even more angry.

"Why do you blame everything on her? Did you know it was me who wanted to keep it a secret? I didn't want to see her getting hurt again. Sure what I did to her was awful but I regretted it so much and I still do but I got her back and I'll do anything in my power to keep it that way!" Celina looked at me harshly and then over at Linn again. She walked pass us and turned around when she reached the door.

"Oh by the way happy birthday Linn, hope you're having a good one!" She said right before she slammed the door after herself. A tear slipped down Linn's cheek and I pulled her in for a tight hug.

"Don't cry baby girl" I said and stroke her hair.

"How did she figure it out?" She sobbed into my shoulder.

"Louis must've told her" I said and I felt the anger build up inside of me. I trusted him.

"You told him?" She said and looked up at me through her lashes.

"Yeah I couldn't lie to him anymore Linn, if I knew he would've told Celina I wouldn't have told him okay. I love you to much to let anyone hurt you"

"Harry... I know she had to know sooner or later anyways" she said and smiled up at me. I heard a light bark from Angel.

"Hey honey, want to cuddle?" Linn said and picked the tiny puppy up in her arms. I smiled at how adorable she looked.

"Thank you so much Harry, now I have someone to cuddle when you're at work"

"Yeah let's don't talk about work now shall we" I said and she looked up at me with worried eyes.

"Why? Hey don't look sad, what's wrong?" She asked and I sat down on the end of the sofa. She put the puppy down and sat down beside me. Her hand rubbing circles on my back.

"Harry, please talk to me"

"I just, urgh, I'm going to the US in two weeks and I-I don't want to leave you again"

"It's okay, I'll get it trough. I've got Angel and I'll text and call you"

"I love you" I said and kissed her lips softly.

"I love you too"
