I was wheezing just by the warm-up, “wow Michael, I underestimated you", I said, trying to dodge every blow he was throwing at me and failing miserably. He was smiling that gentle smile he usually wore when he was around me, but it didn’t look right in this situation. I mean you don’t smile at someone your beating up if you like them right? It’s just not normal.

"So are you saying I’m better then Rueben?" he asked, about to kick me in the stomach. I dodge it, landing on the other side; my feet crouched as I looked at his light blue eyes that were shining with excitement. Fuck, he was enjoying this. he was half naked, we were fighting and he barely broke a  sweat but I was drenched in it.

"Hell no, I said, holding onto my knees so I could slowly get up, "he’s been training for years; you’re like a beginner compared to him". Anger flashed in his eyes and he did a triple twist, which was like going on the floor and twisting your legs up in the air. Almost like you were break dancing but instead of staying in just one place, Micheal lunged into the air, directed himself to where I was and litteraly kicked me in the air 3 times until I was literally coughing out blood.

"Don’t you think… huff… that… you’re getting a bit… too intense". I could barely speak as I tried to stand up but felt my ribs crack. Damn, I was in deep trouble, if he kept on going at this pace, I would faint before we even began the real training. I tried to breathe but it hurt so badly, Rueben hadn’t ever made me cough up blood. He took it easy and slow, trying not to strain or break my body. Michael didn’t give a shit; I looked at his cold hard eyes and wondered if he planned to kill me before Lily did.

He walked towards me and I braced myself for another kick that would end it for me. I waited a couple seconds but it never came. I peeked and I saw the smile on his face and his outstretched hands. "You’re a piece of work, you know that?" He chuckled softly and my body warmed at the sound.  I had never heard him laugh before, it changed his appearance completely.

I took his hand and smiled, "thank you."

His eyes widened and he kissed my hand, and looked me in the eyes. "You shouldn’t smile at me like that, I’ll start thinking things you wouldn’t want me to", he whispered, his eyes twinkling with desire.

I glanced at his torso, completely exposed and smiled evily. I went closer to him, until are chest touched. His eyes widened and I batted my eyelashes. "Maybe", I said, whispering in his ears, "I want you think things you shouldn’t". He looked at me, trying to figure me out and as he leaned down, I lifted my knees, going for the kill. He turned me around, laughing heavily as he grabbed my waist.

"Damn", I cried, I was so close, just one more minute and my knee would have landed in his crotch, making him wheeze with pain. Micheal grabbed my wrist with his left hand and bended down, whisphering in my ears.

"Don’t try to play with me Mina; I don’t handle games very well", he said. I was almost positive he would hit me but instead he let me go. "Practice is over", he said, "go to your classes, and don’t skip or I'll come in your room unpermitted, you got that?"

I breathed slowly, he didn’t look me in the eye, and I knew I went too far.

"Nice practicing with you Michael, you can really manhandle someone". I was about to walk away but he grabbed my wrist, and looked me in the eye. He smiled and pulled me back to his body and kissed my cheeks, making me blush like a red tomato. I don’t know why I was blushing, maybe because kissing a girl in the cheeks was showing that you cared about her. A man who did that was sensitive, my dad used to do that to my mom all the time and she also blushed… just like I was doing now. I pull myself away, scared at the thoughts running through my head, there was no way I'd let Michael get to me.
