Chapter 5

 "It's very unusual for Father." I thought.

~~~~~At the Heartfilia Mansion~~~~~

I decided to come here at the mansion. "I wonder, why would father really want me here." those thoughts flooded my mind.

 Without knowing, I knocked the door to Father's office.

"Father, it's me." I said as he replied, "Come."

I nervously entered the room as I saw father's back. He's currently looking at the big window.

"Take a seat." he commanded but I did not sit. All I want to know is why would he want me here.

"Father, what's the meaning of this?" I asked.

"S-sorry." 

What did he just said?

I don't know but my eyes watered. I didn't want to cry so I wiped my eyes with my fingers.

"I'm sorry, my daughter for everything. I know that its hard for you having a father like me." he said as he faced me with his face in tears.

My eyes acted on their own. Tears poured on my cheeks. I tried to wipe it but it wont stop.

I lowered my head. I can't believe it...I'm crying.

I'm crying.

When suddenly, a hand clutched my shoulder. I looked and saw my father's crying face.

"Don't cry, my Lucy." he said as he attempted to wipe my tears but the tears just wont stop. He removed his hand on my shoulder as he faced back.

"I'm sorry, you may not even forgive me." he said in a really sad tone.

I can hear his sobs...

I can feel my heart...

Without me, realizing it, I hugged my father from the back."Father." I said as if it's the first time I have ever called him father.

"Sorry." I said

Father removed my hand as he faced me and hugged me this time. Tears never stopped from pouring my eyes..."Maybe, those words that he said are the key to my heart...to forgive him completely."
