The next day...

I opened the door. I dropped my bag of groceries. What the heck?!? She wasn't in her hospital bed! The only thing I saw was her pearl bracelet. The one I gave her when she was young. I felt the tear fall out of my eye. I ran down the rusty old Australian stairs as fast as I could. Nobody. Not even a single person. Not even in the hospital rooms. I saw the door open. It was an unpleasant surprise. The walls were knocked down, and I struggled to stay on the ground. The ground shook and I watched the door open and close like it was a flip-flop. I must have missed something! I fell down and was raised with the building. I slided out the door. I was grasped by the tornado. I was stuck! My phone was in my pocket. If I could just get out of this tornado and ask Mitchell to come and help me. I couldnt! I struggled to get out of this tragic tornado but I couldn't! I gave up. I shut my eyes. I just wished to wake up from this crazy dream. So that I would be fine, and Alexa would be fine. I wouldn't have to worry about being a dead mother at only 30 something years old. I could be the mother I never was.

I can't believe that I'm right here, standing. Millions of people have already died in that stage four tornado. I'm one of the lucky people who isn't in the tornado. But I will soon. I heard a scream in the distance. It sounded like mom. She was this way! I completely forgot what I was doing and started running. I got caught up in the huge storm. The worse part is I was right next to mom...
