"I can't believe my my eyes,what am i seeing"
laide had said as tear rolled her face cleaning the make up she had made this morning. It was all tear of joy that she was pregnant after waiting for five years for the moment.
"I can't wait to tell dave about this,I wonder how happy he'll be"
as she giggled after saying these words to herself in her low soft voice. Suddenly she heard the famous Wizkid song "baba nla",that was her ringtone. Hmm who be calling me now she thought as she brought out the phone to see the caller.
As she picked the phone to answer the call,the caller was unknown to her.
"Hello,who's this?" As she answered the call.
"MA! MA!! MA!!! Is this mrs stones"the caller replied her.
"Yes I am"she replied
"MA I'm calling from the ikeja hospital, a man was rushed here sine minutes ago."
"We were told that he was involved in a deadly accident. While were checking his phone we found out that you were his wife so your presence would be needed here right now." The caller said.
"Sorry,sorry, sorry is he still alive." She been hung already.
Dumbfounded to the words she heard,she couldn't do anything again as she was in a moody state thinking about her husband and what could have happened to him. She tried dialing the caller number about six times but there was no response on the other side.
"Ohh,this person won't respond anymore" she murmured on thinking to herself maybe it could have been a prank on her.
She then tried dialing Dave number. She couldn't find it due to her state at the moment. She tried searching for it which she has saved as "my lord" but she couldn't still find it due to her fear
"Where's this foolish number now"
as she grumbled before she found it
"Ooh thank God I've seen it"
As she tried dialing it about twenty times but there was no response from the other side.
Immediately, she jumped into her car as she drove with an ever increasing speed each moment.as she drove a text was sent to her from the previous caller
"THE DAY A CHILD IS BORN,THE SAME A MAN IS MURDERED.THE BEGINNING AND THE END."
"What's happening to me,or am i dreaming. "she cried out
as she increased the speed of the car further.
Her reckless driving brought her insult from other drivers but no one thought of what she was going through.
