"Have you ever been with a girl?" he asks.
On a date, once. She was sweet. Blue haired and standing shorter than my shoulders. We sat on the grass. She shielded me from the wind whilst I rolled us cigarettes. She showed me the park, the forest, the youth centre, her garden. We talked about ghosts, her ex, her cousin the gravedigger. All the way home the trains were a nightmare. I didn't see her again.
