Clowntown

Chapter 1

           First it was 1. Next week there was 10. Now it's 30. 30 people have been kidnapped in the last month. Nobody was found.
           It's been crazy here in Johnstown. So many people have been taken. Me and my friends Lindsey, Zoe, and Liz can't even go out anymore it's so bad. By the way I am Kat. People have been seeing "clowns" walking out in the streets at night. I don't believe them. I think that there are just idiots out there being stupid trying to scare people. The reason I don't believe it is because one clown is even missing.
          I called my friends today and on Halloween night we're going to tee-pee this girl Kelly's house! Maybe we should dress up like clowns and ring her doorbell and stuff too. Kelly is a complete jerk. She thinks she is better than everyone. She's actually a loser. Except for the fact that everyone except my group likes her.
I am really nervous when I am in my room alone at night. Everyone else is my house sleeps upstairs. We have gotten robbed before and I was scared for life. They broke into the house at like three in the morning and took everything. They went in my room. They said if I called anyone they would kill me. The police never did find them jerks.
          I went to sleep tonight and started hearing noises. Afraid of what it could be I ran into my parents room and went to sleep with them. They got so mad. But I don't care.
