As soon as the screen went dark all of district 11 was holding their breath. A minute passed even though it felt like hours. District 11 erupted into madness. Everyone was shouting and yelling about their anger towards the capital. Peacekeepers were starting to swarm that's when I ran home to my befriend Katie's house. Katie's parents adopted me and my other friend Jordan lost our parents. So Jordan, Katie, our parents, and I all live in a house together. Our parents shoved Jordan, Katie, and I down stairs into the underground bomb shelter. In the bomb shelter we found sandbags tied to the ceiling with rope, spears, knives, bows, swords, other weapons, and training equipment. They explained to us that we will train down here so that if ether of us were reaped in the Hunger Games we would be prepared to fight to the death and win the Hunger Games.
