A/N: Here is the first chapter of my new story it's based on some true events but from keeping it from getting too personal there will be some changes but I felt compelled to write this and I am actually proud of this chapter, yay! Chapter one:
Capital Q AND A T...
I sat at the computer desk on the computer at my father’s home; it was the weekend and I had no life. I never really went out on the weekends, don’t you need friends for things like that anyway? Well that’s what I was lacking, I had friends but only few that I kept close. I scrolled through my Facebook newsfeed, nothing really too exciting. I’d occasionally see a post that’d catch my eye but tonight my newsfeed was entertain-less, I sighed. I heard cheers from the living room, my family was watching the Superbowl. Lame. I wasn’t all that into football, or sports in general.
“What are you doing?” I looked toward the voice and saw Riley, my step brother.
“Nothing.” I said honestly, he raised his dirty blond eyebrow at me and his eyes shifted from me to the computer screen but than he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. What was that, seriously? Riley and I had a “fragile” relationship, well at least I thought so but him and I at one time didn’t see eye to eye and now that we did, I didn’t want to lose it. This might sound cheesy but he was a cool big brother and he’s stuck up for me more than I have deserved it and one time he even threatened an ex-boyfriend who made me cry, he was my big brother, a step brother but a brother non-the-less.
I turned back toward the computer screen and something caught my eye,
Flynn Stanton: This game is so intense!
I glared; you’re lack of intelligence is intense for all us who have to deal with your existence, harsh I know but I couldn’t stand this guy. He was such a arrogant jerk, I mean he treated my friend pretty badly when they were together and it just irked my nerves and I just haven’t liked him since. Before I could scroll down, way from the status my paged jumped a little bit making space for a comment that was posted on the status, I didn’t really care what it had to say but the guy who posted it was a capital Q and a T (this is why I don’t have many friends, I say lame shit like that) but seriously he was definitely cute.
I bit my lip and decided if I should check out his page, what could it hurt? I dragged the curser over his name Beau Bates and clicked it than it took me to his profile . I clicked on his profile picture which just enlarged it but enabled me to go through the “profile pictures” album. I clicked the next button and with each click he got way more cute, I kept clicking till I was at the beginning.
“Who is that? The kid looks like a total douche.” Riley’s voice said raining down on my parade, I quickly closed out of his photos and cleared my throat.
“No one, I don’t know.” I said quickly and turning the computer chair to face Riley, he stared down at me and shook his head.
“Facebook stalking are we?” He asked a smirk crossed his lips, I glared at him.
“No! I just though-” I begin but was cut off in the middle of my sentence by a very rude older brother.
“Thought that he looked “familiar””? Riley asked correctly finishing the sentence for me, I stared at him.
“Yes, actually.” I said turning back around I heard Riley chuckle but he walked into the kitchen.
Was it weird I was checking this complete stranger out? I mean he couldn’t be more than a year older than me and it’s not like it’s my fault he was attractive, I sighed and before I realized I had done I clicked the “send Friend Request” button, I stared awkwardly at the screen not knowing how else to feel. I clicked on the home button taking me back to my newsfeed and far away from Beau’s profile. I needed a drink of water, I got up and head to the kitchen.
