Chapter Four

7th grade ... This was the year was the year I started gettin my shit together . I remember I kept thinkin " FINALLY , one more year & i'm off to high school ! " 7th grade year was sort of melodramatic .. It kind of went by in a blur , BUT i do remember that my nieces Shady , Terrika , Kiyah , & their mom moved to North Carolina leaving me ): I felt like I had lost my best friend , even though me & Shady stayed communicating on Myspace , writing letters to each other , & of course calling each other . Again , 7th grade year was kind of flying & finally 2010 hit .. This year had to be one of the BEST years of my life , HANDS DOWN . I remember in May 0f 2010 , i met my sister , Jaz . I remember that day like it was yesterday ...

* Flashback *

Shady had called me & told me that she wanted me to meet her friends . At the time , Shady was living in Winterville . She went to AG Cox Middle & she kept telling ALL of her friends about me , showing them my pictures on Facebook & everything . Boys & Girls down there were tryna get at me .

Anyways , I answered & her , Malik , & Jaz were on the phone . I was confused as hell , but I went along w/ it .

" Hey Sellieeee ! Omggg , I miss you so much ! " Shady exclaimed ..

" Hey babyy , I miss you too " I said .. I did miss her so much , I was still sad that she had left .

Then she told Malik & Jaz to say hi .. & they did . I felt awkward though because I didn't really know them .. But then we started talking about random shit . Malik kept asking me when I was gonna be his gf , but I blatantly kept ignoring him . He was beyondddd aggy af >_> Then I remember how when me & Shady started talking about how we plan to visit each other & I had sent her a picture of me , Malik & Jaz just busted out laughing & giggling . It was hella random . Come to find out they were laughing because the both of them betted that one of them had a better chance at getting me than the other ... Smh , it was crazyyyy .

* Flashback Over *

In the end though , neither of them got w/ me . Shady had stopped talking to Malik , that day was the only time I had talked to him . & Jaz ? Well , Shady & her remained like the best of friends & because of that , we kept talking & became really cool . She gave me the nickname Shawty . Initially , she gave me the name because she classified me as her shorty , but after awhile , her feelings for wanting to be w/ me turned into us becoming best friends & sisters . She thought I was really pretty , real , & down to earth & figured I should be on her team . But I wasn't really feeling her like that . Especially because at the time , I was single & wanted to do my own thing . Can't lie though , she was cute af , but I didn't want a relationship & especially because she lived in North Carolina . Through time , we started calling each other sisters & we grew to love each other like sisters . We didn't care , lol . We called each other blood sisters . We're so much alike that it's scary !

Anyways , Shady had this fetish w/ bragging about me to everybody -.- She would tell everybody , ESPECIALLY at school , ohh " my aunt is this " , & " my aunt is that " , & " my aunt is gorgeous & sexy af ! " & so on . She would show everybody my pictures & stuff on Facebook & Myspace . A lot of people would add me & try to get at me , but I turned them down . Then I remember in July .. one of her friends , Janay , added me . I thought she was sexy , omggg ! Once I had accepted her friend request on Facebook , she inboxed me . We started talking & we clicked instantly . She told me about how & her Shady were best friends & how Shady sat halfway on the rainbow ( meaning she was bi-sexual ) . We talked about everything & anything . She called me boss-butt & I called her bad-butt . We literally became best friends . Despite Shady moving to a different city in North Carolina , me & Jaz , & me & Janay , stayed really close .
