NA (sitting at table, reading from newscast): Good morning Quebec! Breaking news! I have just been informed of a spaceship landing downtown! When asked for a statement, government personnel replied, quote "We do not know anything about these lifeforms as of yet. They seem to not be able to breathe our air. Please just remain calm while we handle the situation" un quote. After the commercial break, we will be interviewing a witness of the landing. Back to you, Tom.
(exit stage right, with table)
(enter stage right, military personnel)
PB (enter stage left, running, playing around, bumps into military person): Oops! Haha, sorry sir! (checks phone) Huh, wonder why mom's been calling. Hey! What's going on? Why is downtown all blocked off? (silence) You don't really talk much do you sir? (silence) Not one word, really?
MP: Please step away from the blockade young man.
PB: Aha! You do speak! Alright well, I'll be going now!
(PB exit stage right, place table like bush facing towards MP)
NA (enter stage left): That was a blatant lie. He will not be going now. Sorrel's curiosity was too much to quench. (exit stage left)
*play pink panther now*
PB (sneaking behind bush, around MP): [quietly to self] sneaky snake, be a sneaky snake [gets around MP, who is oblivious, sticks tongue out at MP]
MP (exit stage left): Huh, I sure do wonder where that young man went off to.
