Marcus pov

*scream*

Nothing but the sounds of screams can be heard this late at night. The smells of medicine and antibacterial products invade my nose as I sat here waiting. Honestly I hate being in a place like this. It's so sterile that it makes me feel like I'm dirtying up the place. But if it's for my best friend I'll deal with it.

Currently I'm in the waiting area of the hospital that I own with my wife and two sons, Jason and mason, who are six years old and are now sleeping on one of the lounge chairs. But not only my sons but also the four sons of my best friend Alex;
Zachary, Zane, Zeke, and Zander. In that same order oldest to youngest.

"Uncle Marcus when do you think our sister well get here? She sure is taking a lot longer then Zander did." Asked Zachary.

He maybe still a child of eleven years but his mentality is maturing rather quickly. He would be a fine man and business partner when he gets older.

"Don't worry Zac she'll be here soon enough." As soon as i finished my sentence the screaming stopped and a small crying of a new born was heard.

Then Alex came out of the room from where the crying was being heard with the biggest small smile I've ever seen. Even bigger than when Zachary was born. If I can compare.

"Marcus, Linda. I'm so glad that you can be here on such short notice. I see the twins are exhausted from all the waiting." Alex said looking at my kids with his smile that never faltered.

"Come on Alex. I was there when the other four was born. What makes you think I'll miss this one."

"Well....... I'm just so happy that your here to witness this. You know that your my best friend and that I appreciate you being here."
Alex was tearing up a bit towards the end. I wouldn't blame him I did the very same thing when he was there when the twins were born.

"Of course Alex. I wouldn't miss it for the world."
With that he turned to his kids,
"Kids, lets go meet our new member of our family," making a following gesture for all of us towards the room.

Knowing that this was a safe place my wife and I left the twins as they were, sleeping and followed Alex.

Entering the room we were greeted by Zachary holding a bundle wrapped in a pink blanket and the rest were surrounding him in awe.

I smiled at the sight. I didn't want to ruin it so went to greet Mary, Alex's wife.
Before I could make an attempt to greet her my wife Linda beat me to it.

"Congratulations Mary. You finally have a baby girl." Linda began to quietly squeal as to not disrupt the kids.

"Thank you Linda and thank you Marcus for being here. It wouldn't be much of a welcoming to our baby if you guys weren't here."

"Of course we'd be here. Now, I wanna know if you've already named her."

"Well actually we've been choosing names for our baby months before. And we've decided to name her Zora Ortiz." Said Alex in a proud manner.
