Tricia was sitting on a couch smiling. She looked happy and her elder sister, Jasmine was curious and wanted to know the reason as to why she looked so happy.
Suddenly, Tricia bursted out in laughter and Jasmine took a step back in surprised. "Tricia, what is so funny?"
Tricia smiled at her elder sister. "Nothing."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, just some random jokes." She grinned showing off her teeth.
Jasmine shook her head with a smile on her face. She walked inside the kitchen to get her food. She carried the plate carefully and was about to sit down on the couch when her sister called her.
"Jasmine!" She said in a loud voice.
Jasmine jumped back in shock almost causing the plate to fall down but luckily she regained her balance. She put the plate on the coffee table and turned to look at Tricia with angry eyes.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Jasmine scolded.
"What is wrong with me?" Tricia asked her back in exasperation. "What is wrong with you?" She asked her back emphasising every words.
Jasmine frowned wondering why her sister is being so dramatic. "You were the one who shocked me!"
"It's because you were about to sit on my friends!" Tricia raised her voice.
Jasmine took a step back and gulped staring at the empty seat beside Tricia. "What friends?"
Tricia looked at her in confusion. "There are five of them. Can't you see them? Because, they can surely see you."
"But, Tricia I don't see anyone. Stop it, it's not funny." Jasmine said in an angry tone.
"I'm not lying. Let me introduce you to them." She stood up and pointed to an empty space. "This is Lina, Ellis, Erin, Dina and Ponti. They all have long hair and are wearing white dresses."
Jasmine raised her eyebrows. "Wow, that's a lot of imaginary friends you have there."
"They are not my imaginary friends!" Tricia snapped.
"Then what are they?" Jasmine snapped back at her sister. "Because I certainly cannot see them and i'm sure Jocelyn couldn't see them too." She told her little sister and beckoned for her maid, Jocelyn to come.
"Yes, what can I help you girls with?" Jocelyn asked.
"Jocelyn tell me the truth," Jasmine said in a serious tone. "Can you see Tricia's 'friends'?"
Jocelyn frowned in confusion looking at the empty spot next to Tricia. "I don't see anything."
"Thank you Jocelyn. See Tricia, even Jocelyn couldn't see your 'friends'." Jasmine crossed her arms and smirked at her little sister's emotionless face. "You don't need to get worked up over you non-existent friends."
"I forgot to tell you guys something." Tricia said in a hushed tone. "You can't see them because they are kuntilanak."
