I was awaken by the sun's light piercing through my small window. I slowly opened by eyes because I was trying to adjust to the bright light. Once I did, I yawned. I looked over to right, and I see some people waking up. I see a mother, father, and a child in the far right greeting each other. Then, I see a teen couple waking up from each other's shoulders, which I thought was cute. And then there were two teen girls who were sleeping.

After I look at these people in the plane, I plugged my earphones in my ear, and listen to music while I looked out my window. While looking out the window, I start to have flashbacks while I stare at the beautiful blue sky. I remember my friends and family from Georgia. I miss them so much. I wish I never left them, but I was given an opportunity and I took it. As I remember all my memories with them, a small tear starts to fall down on my face. I know I shouldn't be sad or have regret because my friends and family would want me to be happy, and I need to be happy for them.

I know they miss me, but they know that this is what is best for me. If I gave up on this opportunity just to be with them, they wouldn't be happy because it will not only affect me, it will affect them too because they would realize that the opportunity that I gave up would have been good for me, and they will regret not supporting me on it.

I have been on this Delta plane non stop for four hours, and I need one hour left. My butt is sore. I am so glad that I don't have anyone sitting next to me, otherwise I would have had a sleepless morning. My plane took off at 7:00am. I know it is not early, but I had to wake up at 5:00am to gather all of my belongings, and put them in my parent's car. There was no airport in the area that I live in, so my parents had to drive me to the Hartsfield Jackson Airport which is about an hour and thirty minutes maybe more if there is traffic.

Even though there was traffic, we still made it on time to catch my plane. I gave my parents a big hug and a kiss and ran to the airport. When I arrived, they just started boarding passengers. I was relieved. When I entered the plane, I sat in my seat and put my seatbelt. Then, I stretched my arms and legs, and then I started to doze off in a sleep.

I was rudely interrupted when a flight attendant came in the intercom and talked about safety regulations and what to do when there is an emergency. That lasted for about ten minutes, and then the plane started to move. Sooner or later, the plane starts to lift off the ground. I was so happy that we started to fly because I could finally sleep.

I checked my phone to see what time it was and it said 11:00am. Wow I guess everyone on my plane was really tired. It is close to lunch time, but I decided that I wanted to eat when I arrived in Los Angeles, California because I didn't like what they served in the plane.

I love Delta airlines because they have this tablet thing that is attach to each seat. I get to watch movies and play games. I decided that I wanted to watch a movie, so I picked Suicide Squad. Later in the movie, a flight attendant came to me and asked "Would you like some snacks and a drink?". "Yes, please. May I have a Crème Brûlée, and a cup of water?" I asked the flight attendant. "Yes, of course." she replied back, while handing me what I ordered. "Thank you!" I said. "You're Welcome." she answered back.

An hour later, the plane finally landed. It was 12:05. I was so hungry that once the plane came to a full stop, I quickly left the plane. I thing you should learn from me is that you shouldn't mess with me when I am hungry. If you do, I will go off on you. Trust me...

Anyways, I went to the Baggage claim. I saw many suitcases with many colors, sizes, and shapes. After waiting for two minutes, I finally got my bag. I decided that I should eat in the airport because I won't know where to go to find food, knowing that I am alone her in California. But hey, I can take care for myself. I am 17 years old. I can cook and drive and I also have a lot of money that my parents gave me to survive at least a week. You see the school that I am going to called Angeles High School is going is to give me a credit card full of money for the rest of high school. And he best part is that I don't need to pay it back because just coming to that school is paying them back. I also get to live in a dorm room for free. I heard that the for dorm rooms there are nice. Unfortunately, I need to stay in a hotel because they need two days to finish cleaning and rearranging and that kind of stuff. Now that I think of it...will I have a roommate?
