Interviewing Wattpad Writers- @Gentle_Enemy
Person being interviewed: MissMythoMagic
MMM: Sure. Who doesn't love a good dose of random?
ME: Yeah, who doesn't? xD
How did you come across the pleasure of writing?
MMM: Well, it started when I was seven (really young, I know). I wrote a typical child type story about a princess and such, but it was first experience with writing, even if it wasn't any good.
Then in grade three, when I was eight, our grade had a compulsory writing competition. I didn't really want to do it, but my teacher kept pushing me to finish. To my surprise, I ended up winning; first out of 120 students all the same age as me.
Over the course of the next few years, I wrote a little bit. I tried a few original stories that never seemed to work out. I wrote my first Fan Fiction, the Daughter of the Sea, but had nothing to do with it.
Then, one day this year, a miracle happened; I found Wattpad. The sixth of August, 2013, was the day my life turned around for the better. And I've been happily writing ever since.
ME: O_O I just thought that out in a REAAAALLY cheesy voice. Sorry! My story is a mix between a lot of things, that included - excluding the story contest.
What gave you the idea for Daughter of the Sea?
MMM: Well, I was a loner at my school, I had no friends, everyone ignored me. So I started reading heaps, and I wished that I could be part of the book. But I knew that was impossible; I couldn't exactly go up to Rick Riordan and ask him to put me in his books. So I wrote myself in. I wrote a book featuring myself as a daughter of Poseidon. It wasn't meant to do anything but make me feel better about myself. But when I found Wattpad, I thought I'd give it a try.
ME: .... I have nothing to say that won't make me seem extremely weird... xD
Team Leo or Team Nico?
MMM: Oh, hard one. Um ... I would say Team Leo, because he's funny and smart, and has that tragic hero back-story. Nico's pretty cool and he's had a tough life, but he's really dark and spooky. Whereas Leo, even though his mum died and such, he's still a happy-go-luck guy; always looking on the bright side and turning a bad situation around.
And you can ask me absolutely anything. I'm super weird, and I DON'T CARE! I LOVE IT! So, ask away!
ME: WELL OKAY! XD
Would you kiss Blackjack just to hang out with the seven of the prophecy?
MMM: . . . TOTALLY! I kiss my dog all the time! :P Kinda. So, why not? Blackjacks awesome anyways.
ME: XD Nice.
Last question (sad huh?): If you were to give a shout-out to a new writer/Wattpadder, who would it be and why?
MMM: Hmm, another tough one. I would shout out to ...@Puppydude. He's relatively new and my best friend. He's an amazing person who always encouraged me to do what I felt was right. He lifted my spirits when they were down and can always make me laugh. He's funny, nice and the best friend a girl could have.
ME: Thank you for letting me interview you. You'll be the one in the first issue. :)
