Ash's POV
The next morning I was shaken awake. I looked up and saw Hermione shaking me. "Hurry, we are late for breakfast," she said to me quietly. I jumped up and quickly got into my school robes. Then Hermione and I ran down to the Great Hall and sat next to Ron and Harry. "Where were you?" Harry asked. "Sorry, I slept in," I said to him. Then he passed me muy timetable. "Lucky you, you have Potions straight up," said Ron sarcastically. Well, at least I'll find out whether they were telling the truth.
As soon as I was done eating breakfast, I went down to the dungeons and to the Potions. Snape walked in. His eyes landed on me. "And who may you be?" he asked with a disgusted look on his face. "I am Ashley Potter," I stated confidently. He sneered. "Another? You are probably as arrogant as your brother." "Well, I am glad because my brother is awesome," I answered innocently. He looked shocked. He went on with the lesson. At the end of lesson I packed up my stuff. Then this girl with chestnut brown hair came up to me. "Hi, my name is Myst Senatiree and I am in Ravenclaw," she held out her hand, " what's your name?" she asked. "My name is Ashley Potter and I am in Gryffindor," I replied with a smile.
Next, I had Transfiguration. Myst and I walked to Transfiguration and found that we were late. Professor McGonagal looked at us. "Why is it that every generation of Potter is late to their first class," she said as we walked in. Everyone turned and looked at us. We both turned as red as the Weasley hair. We took our seats at the front of the classroom. When her back was turned, I looked at Myst and we smiled. I knew from then on we were going to be good friends.
