@It has started. The disaster we all has predicted. People running from left right and centre bringing guns and bombs in their hands. Flames opened up, corpses falls. Jet planes split the sky with smoke. Gunshots shattered glasses, never ending chaos is happening. Tanks, troops, planes and battleships packed with a whole ton of rounds, shells, missiles, bombs and guns. This is it. The beginning of the war. Me and Josh was just relaxing in our bed and boom. Bombs exploded right in our front5 door. Josh came down the stairs with a wide opened eyes. The door was fine. But our yard is destroyed to pieces.
"What happened?!" Josh shocked me with his scream.
Then, a shadow of a man comes closer by inch to inch. Bringing a gun cocked it and get his fingers on the trigger.
"Who is he? And what is he doing?" I asked.
Josh was so frightened and didn't even said a word.
"GET DOWN!" Both of us yelled.
We got to the ground hide behind a thick concrete wall. He opened fired in us finishing his entire mag. The walls was filled with holes of gunshots. While he was reloading we ran to our backyard. We opened the door of our warehouse located in the backyard. We were hoping to see some guns, but no. There's only lawn mowers, screwdrivers, hammer, a plank, and some nails. We desperately took the hammer and nails hoping that we can blast through his head. When we head back to the road, he vanished. Seconds later an huge explosion blow our bedroom to pieces. Smashing our bench, windows and bed. And then, black smoke filled the sky. Troops came out of nowhere, planes came dropping bombs in our hometown.
"WHATS HAPPENING?!?"Josh screamed.
"How will I know Josh.." I said
Finally we came up with a plan. We will outrun them by running into the woods behind our home. We ran as fast as we could and jumped through the fence into the woods. When were on the woods, Josh spotted girl. She was crying so much. Tears flooded her foot.
"What happened?" Asked Josh
The girl goes frightened.
"Who are you!? Don't come closer!" Said the girl.
We both were shocked when she said that. We thought that she was insane. But she wasn't. Just scared. I saw her hand a she was holding a flower and a glock.
"Jeez, calm down there,.. and what's up with those items yours holding?" I asked.
"My mother gave me this flower when I was a kid. a poppy. And this glock, I just used it to escape. I'm Alexis by the way."
When we were talking, footsteps come closer. Our soul was filled with adrenaline. We know that their troops are coming. Because we know and we heard them, we get even deeper Into the woods. We were hoping that Alexis know where they come from.
"Do you even know where do they come from?" I asked.
"No. No I didn't." She said
So we kept on going deeper and deeper. A few minutes later we found an old crib. Inhabited. Not knowing who is the owner but it's filled with guns and ammos! We quickly act. Taking all the guns such as M4A1, M60, AK74, and more guns.
"Are you all ready?" Asked Josh
"Yes we are!!" Me and Alexis shouted.
We headed down, following the dirt path to a long river. But we all thought there's no time to waste. We swam through the river like a shark looking for it's food. We ended up in one creepy place. Similar to that crib, it's inhabited. Brown fog, covering the ground covered by sand. Dust gets in our eyes by seconds, dirty splashes of water gets our body.
"Oh jeez, this place is really creepy,"
"I got the same thinking Alexis,"I said.
A few creepy minutes later, a door in front of us was blown to pieces. We all screamed like a scared cat. When that door blasted, tons of bones went flying. Haunted right? Nope. It wasn't.
Aimed our guns at the blasted house, dark smoke filled the room, gets in our nose, an unpleasant smell, more like explosions of course.
"Uhhh guys, I spotted something,"
She locks her sight on the floor. We came in to the room and spotted some dusty material. More like gunpowder. Scary. Yes. We all thought it was an accident. Made by the people who used to live here. Maybe they put those gunpowder down in purpose and catch on fire by the hot air. Of course it's a complex one. We all gathered in the middle of the town. Looking around for any signs of life. Our eyes didn't even see a thing. Our ears didn't hear blows of breath.
"Nothing is living in this place. It's in ruins."
"You're right Josh, we might have to leave,"
We all nodded of agreement. A few minutes later, we left the town, and headed north. Few miles ahead, troops starting to come in.
"Are those guys Mongolian? Why are they here? They lived thousands of miles away!"
"I'm not sure Alexis, but I know they're hostiles."
We goes out slowly, those guys are equipped with heavy armed guns, tanks, and vehicles. And then, we had an idea. We will come towards them and said we come in peace and ask for help. And we did.
"Hey! Over here! Don't worry, we come in peace!"
Fortunately, they understood what are we saying, so, they come towards us and talk to us about the situations when we left. We explained everything about it. So, it's our turn to ask.
"So, you know everything about it now, now can you tell us where are they from?"
"We are not sure, but we can help you to get your town back and get them in peace! Please, come with us, I will take you to our commander."
Those army's took us into one little crib. And the commander was there. Waiting. Just like he knew everything about us.
"Alright then, what's going on?"
We told him all About it and asked for help. Fortunately for us, he happily accepted it. Alright then, here we go!
