"Babe let's go swimming today" Cameron says as I scroll threw Instagram.
"Where?" I ask kinda excited.
"The beach?" He suggested.
"Sounds good to me!" I say with a smile .
"Wait when today!" I ask
"Right now?"
"Okay!"
I love the beach, well I love being in water in general.
That's why we came to California.
We've been dating for almost two years, next month will be our two year anniversary actually.
At first it was just a little fling it was never supposed to get serious, he was well A fuckboy and I was a girl who just got dumped by the only other person I've ever loved but somewhere along the way we became something real and I couldn't be happier.
"Oh and Madison, wear that white one piece" he says with a smirk.
"Whatever you want" I smile.
I quickly get up and gather everything for the beach. Thankfully we both make good money so we have a cute house not to far from the beach.
As soon as we both change we take off to the beach aka my favorite place ever.
As soon as we're there I run towards the water.
Yes it's super cold but after a minute I get used to it.
"You know it would be nice if you helped unload the car" he says as he sets out bags down.
"Well I would but each time I ask to help you say 'no I can do it' so I don't try anymore" I say with a shrug.
"That is true but I could've used help today" he says as he walks towards me.
As he gets closer I splash him.
"Hey! That's cold!" He says with a small laugh.
"Oops" I say with a devilish smile.
"Your gonna pay for that" he says as he gets closer to me and picks me up.
"Cam! Nooo! I swear if get my hair wet I will kill you" I try to sound serious but fail due to me laughing to much.
"Is that a threat" he ask as he walks deeper.
"Yes! I mean no! No! Baaabe!" I say in between laughs.
"If you give me a kiss I won't" he says
"Okay, but put me down first!" I tell him.
He puts me down and starts leaning in for a kiss but as closes his eyes I make a run for the shore.
He doesn't notice for about 5 seconds but by then I'm already at the shore.
He turns and looks at me.
"Hey! That's cheating!" He says crossing his arms.
"Awww oh well" I say sticking my tongue out at him.
I turn around to grab my phone but run into someone and fall.
"Shit" I whisper to myself.
"I'm so sorry" a male voice says.
I look and my eyes go wide.
"Madison?" He says with even wider eyes.
"Alex" I say as I try to stand up.
"Alex! I swear you walk way to fast" a girl says as she walks up to him.
"Who's this" she says as she stares me down.
"An old friend" he says and at this point Cameron is walking up to us as well.
"Okaaay well hi old friend I'm Jasmine" she says with a small wave.
Jasmine.
"I'm Madison" I say with a small smile.
"Madison? Like your ex Madison?!" She aka Ethan in a loud tone.
He just nods.
"Hey babe, who's this" Cameron ask.
"This is an old friend. Well ex, Alex and I'm guessing his girlfriend Jasmine" I say still in shock.
Alex was the person I was with before Cam, the only other boy I've ever loved. We had the perfect relationship, well almost.
It all seemed perfect until Alex's ex wanted him back so he left me. That ex being Jasmine. He broke up with me threw a text, saying it never meant anything, that he never stopped loving her. After a while I met Cameron and well you know the rest.
"Nice you meet you, I'm Cameron" he says as he puts his arm around me.
"Hey we were gonna go grab some food after this, you guys should come" Cameron says.

"Yeah sure! Where at?" Jasmine says.
Ugh this bitch.
"IHOP?" Cam suggest.
"Sounds good! We should actually head there now" she says with a fake smile.
"Is that okay with you babe?" Cam ask.
I just nod.
"Cool, we'll meet you guys there!" He says and starts grabbing our things.
Is he serious! We just got here!
I grab my bag and start walking towards the car. Thankfully I brought a sun dress to go over my swimsuit.
I throw my bag in the car and get in the drivers seat.
"Your driving?" He says as he gets in.
"It's my car so yeah" I say as I start the engine.
"Are you okay?" He ask me like nothing
"Your kidding right" I say with an eye roll
"What"
" you invited my ex and his girl to get food with us" I say as I try to remain calm.
"Not that big of a deal" he says shaking his head.
" remember the ex I told you about before we got together. That's him. And Jasmine is the one he left me for" I say
"Oh" is all he says.
