“Welcome to the annual Combat Tournament where anyone who is chosen as a representative for their specified Continent will fight so that we won’t have hundreds of soldiers die in a war” announced the Tournament Announcer. “Now then if you would like to register to compete in the Qualifier Rounds please do so now” said the announcer, and then we all went to register in the category we were best suited for. “Please head to that line there, sir” said the registration lady as I headed to the line she had pointed to. When I got into the line I noticed, on the screen in front of me, a girl in the Ability combat category that had completely annihilated four contestants all at once with just her claws. “It would be pretty interesting if I could face her in battle” I thought to myself.
“Ok, now time for the Hand to Hand Qualifiers. Let’s watch!” said the announcer “Wow! It looks like the guy called Zero is completely crushing his enemies, but how long will it last?” said the announcer. “Take this” yelled a guy in a tuxedo as he tried to punch me “Ah….my arms!” he yelled as I broke his arms after dodging his attack “Didn’t your mother ever teach you not to fight someone if you know you’re going to lose?” I asked “Ah….I forfeit” he screamed “And we now have our three winners from each category and tomorrow we will randomly put them into three teams of five with one person from each category” announced the announcer.
The Next Day...
“Ok, here we go the computer will decide the teams and the first team is……Brad, Trip, Katy, Patricia, and Glenn. The second team……Venus, Zero, Valerie, Sorrow, and Broken. So that just leaves William, Anna, Fred, Corbin, and Trent for the third team. Now let the second half of the Qualifiers……BEGIN!” announced the announcer. “So what category were you guys in?” asked Venus “Ninja Combat” replied Broken “Ability Combat” Replied Valerie “Blades” answered Sorrow “Hand to Hand Combat” I answered “Oh yeah I was in the Firearms category” said Venus “EVERYBODY DOWN!” I yelled as a grenade exploded twenty meters away from us “TAKE COVER SOMEWHERE!” yelled Valerie as we all hid behind a large boulder “Ok that’s it Venus hide behind the big tree to our left and have your weapons ready, Broken hide in a tree and have your Giant Shuriken ready, Valerie you’re with me, and Sorrow hide behind the big tree to our right and have your Sword ready. Ok guys GO!” I said “Ok Valerie lets go” I said and then we came from behind the boulder with our hands in the air and Trent, Anna, William, Corbin, and Fred revealed themselves. As they did Brad, Trip, Katy, Patricia, and Glenn hid to watch what was going on “NOW!” I yelled and Broken threw his Giant Shuriken and defeated Corbin, while Venus pulled out her Twin Pistols, shot William, and defeated him, then Sorrow ran toward Fred and sliced Fred with his Sword and defeated him, then Valerie used her Energy Claws to defeat Anna, while I annihilated Trent. After that Brad and his team forfeited the Qualifiers and we were North and South America’s representatives and became Team Nightcore.
“Ugh……how much longer is this flight going to take” complained Venus “Calm down we’re almost there” answered Sorrow “Finally” said Venus then the plane started to land. When the plane landed we got out and were now on the Unknown Island where all we knew was that it had a Desert Section, Forest Section, Arctic Section, Wasteland Section, Mountain Section, and Swamp Section. “Ok start the war” said the announcer so we decided head out toward the Forest Section. While we were walking thirteen monkeys with blades for hands, a German Shepherds head, and large spikes on their tails appeared and surrounded us, so Venus pulled out her twin pistols and shot six of them while I froze my fists and knocked out six of the other seven then the last one tried to attack me from behind but Sorrow cut its head off before it could. “Look out” yelled Broken “Dang! I missed” complained Swindle “What! He’s using a Machine gun and a Pistol” yelled Sorrow “No problem I’ll get them” said Martyna as she jumped out of the shadows and started swinging her Scythe at us. “Dang I didn’t think it would be this hard to hit just one of you” said Martyna as she continued to try to hit us with her Scythe “Stand down, Martyna” commanded Emily “I’ll handle this” yelled Zenith then he threw his Spear and it shot as fast as lightning toward Sorrow but only barely cut his face and hit a tree behind him. “Static, your turn” said Emily “Understood” replied Static as he shot Electricity at Broken, but Broken dodged the attack barely “Dang! Are these guys trained Assassins or something” said Sorrow “I’m getting tired of this, so I’ll handle it” said Emily as she ran towards Valerie, but I jumped in front of Valerie and Emily’s fist hit my fist perfectly and she kept punching and kicking but her attacks kept matching mine. “We’ve been at this for over an hour and neither of us has landed a hit so why don’t we call it a draw……for now” asked Emily “Fine by me” I replied “Ok Team Hunters let’s go” commanded Emily then they walked off.
