"ASTRIDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!"
"Ughh, Ian it's 4:00 am in the freaking morning why are you waking me up 3 hours earlier."
"I'm going to kill you, OPEN THE DOOR!!"
Oh shit I almost forgot about the night before, I rang Ian and told him I was in an accident. He didn't believe me at first, thinking I was at the library with my brothers. They're here for a week before starting school. He had his suspicions but I got Asher involved and with in a matter of minutes he was rushing to the 'scene.'
That gave me enough time to head home in a blitz and replace his conditioner with wash'n'rinse hair dye. Now his eyebrows leg and arm hairs as well as his mop of a head have been dyed bright green. Oh the bliss of having him walk around publicly looking like a clown. That'll teach him for snooping in my emails with Liam.
With a sudden burst Ian comes pulsing in looking like Hulk bloody Hogan.
I'm trying so hard to hold in the laughter but it just comes piling out and once I try sobering up I take one glance at him and I'm out. The situation isn't helping considering he has me pinned against the bed with a wet willy piling in my ears. It's like a swimming pool of saliva.
"GROSS!"
"That'll teach you for messing with me duckling."
I go to take a shower, now that I'm up I can't sleep so I might as well just get a head start to the day.
"Need someone to help wash your back pimples Astie."
"I do not have back pimples, my back is as smooth as a babies bottom."
"Keep telling yourself that."
"Well are you gonna hop in or what, I'm getting out soon."
"Why so eager tiger, that rhymed, I think I should become a poet." Liam announced grinning like a maniac.
"That never rhymed boo, I'm so sorry to tell you."

The steam started to fog the doors, and what happens next is what I like to call
"7 minutes in heaven."
"You don't understand how much you really mean to me, I need you in my life your my necessity yeah."
"Baby your amazing, your my angel come and save me."
The music blearing through the speaker in our room. Yes that's right I said
'our room' as in we share one.
Liam made it official when we started University last week. Let me refresh my memories on what went down by lunch.

We arrive at the university at precisely
7:30 on the dot.
"Liam I'm really nervous." My hand is twitching in his grip.
"Hey listen to me Astie, your going to be just fine, we have 4 classes together as well as lunch, just text me if you have any problems ok."
I'm not one to believe in miracles but somehow our lockers were right next to each other.
It took me once to figure the combination, on the contrary poor old Liam was having a hard time.
"Looks like I'm not the only one who's nervous."
Classes start in 5 minutes and we're only down the hallway, my days starting off pretty well and to top it all off, we know no one from or old school. Except for 1 person.
"Astie we better get to class." Finally Liam got his combination.
Liam and I enter the warm classroom, why does it look so different from the movies.
"Hello Class I will be your home ec teacher, you can call me Janet though."
At that point we weren't paying attention but our voices hitched when she dropped the J bomb on us.
"What the f-"
"Language young man, is there any problems."
We look up at the same time to see Liam's mum standing there with a VERY smug look on her face.
"No problems Ms, uh I mean Janet but you just look very familiar."
"Well I get told that a lot but next time come and talk to me in private ok."
"Agreed." We said simultaneously.
"Liam did you know about this."
"Well if I did, wouldn't I tell you so I can switch universities."
"Hey, don't be silly, it's not going to be half as bad considering we know her." I said with a grin. I genuinely mean what I say.
"Does anyone have any questions."
We both raised our hands considering we had a lot of questions that need answering.
"Yes young man." Janet said with a mischievous grin.
"Do you have children and if you do, are they aware of where you are teaching?"
"Well I do, I have 3 kids, one actually attends university sadly he does not know I am teaching here."
"My turn." I said in an orderly tone.
Janet flashed a toothy smile my way.
"Is this the only subject you teach here."
"I also teach journalism and mathematics."
"Good to know." I said through an inquisitive grin.
The next classes fly through as a blur so when It reaches lunch I'm glad. I've developed quite an appetite.
When I get to the cafeteria and settle my lunch on an empty table I notice that Liam is not where he promised to be. Instead my clown faced friend Ian is waiting under some catchy sunglasses and a Yeezy hoodie. Kanye 20/20!
"You hungry Ian?"
"Nah, I had some BK in the teachers area."
"Thanks for sharing." I replied in a snarky tone which only made him laugh more.
Weirdly, the loud speaker comes on. "Greetings everyone I have a student who would like to make an announcement."
"This persons a nut job then." We both grinned.
"Umm, hi everyone my names Liam and I would like to make an announcement, or rather a proposal, no not a proposal but I would like to ask a very important person a very important question."
"My throat constricted when I heard Liam's voice."
"Astrid Parker, will you do the honours of being my girlfriend."
Then comes Liam booming in to the cafe.
"YESSSS!!!" I screemed from the top of my lungs.
Everyone applauded us and from the corner of my eye I could see our friend and bodyguard crying slightly. I looked at Liam, my now boyfriend in awe.
Asher and Aiden were the first to know and then we contacted our whole family explaining the whole situation.
Now, time to visit Janet.
"Mum, when were you planning on tell me you were teaching here."
"Right now." She replied trying to act all innocent. I could see a ghost of a smile though.
"Well, don't go all gushy on me but I'm happy your here and wouldn't ask for any other teacher, I love you Mum."
"Good to hear that my favourite oldest son, but just because I'm allowing you to call me Janet in classes doesn't mean you call me that outside of school, do I make that clear."
"Yes ma'am." He mock saluted her.
I was now grinning like a manic.
"Aww hello my future daughter in law, you know we're practically family so there's no stopping you from calling Samantha and I mum." I felt a tear drop down my face.
"Thank you J- I mean Mum."
We headed off home and there was a note waiting for me and Liam.
'Dinners in the fridge.'

So that's what happened on my first day of school, and now me and my best friend are officially dating life couldn't be better.
