Dear Jessie

Dear Jessie,

You gave me this journal a year and a half ago, on my sixteenth birthday. It was dark red, my favorite color, and you had my name engraved on the cover. I saw it, and fell instanly in love with it. So much so, that I never wanted to use it, and I didn't. Until now.

This morning, you were reported missing. Sometime between yesterday afternoon and this morning, you vanished. This is the only way I can think of to reach out to you. If I don't do that, I'll end up going crazy over here. The police think you ran away and that you'll comeback home in a few days, but I know better. I know you better than anyone, and I know you wouldn't run away. Someone took you, I can feel it.

I hope that you're found soon, because I need you Jessie. I need you here, at home, where you belong. Mom and Dad are going out of their minds worrying about you. The police said they can't start a search party until tomorrow. I doubt they even notice I'm here, but that's nothing new.

Dear Jessie,

It's day two, and the search party for youbegan thismorning.There hasn't been any sign of you. No one has tried to contact us for money or anything like that. Everyone in townwas looking for you. Even Jessica Newlon. Mom and Daddidn't sleep last night, in hopes that you weregoing to walk through the front door.I know this because I was awake all night, in myroom, praying that you'd walk through the door too.

Most of the kids at school don't know what to think about you being missing. Even if you did run away, it's not like you.We'reall wondering who would want to kidnap someonelike you. You're like, the nicest person in town, and you have agood heart. You always try and help people out when they need it. I just don't understand any of it anymore.

The police don't have any leads, whatsoever, so tomorrow, they are bringing the search dogs out.Maybe they can give us some kind of trail as to where you might have been, where they might have taken you. I have to go now Jessie. Maybe we'llget onestep closer tofinding you in the morning.
