Ashley's POV:
I walk into the school building, dreading school because it's a Monday. I can't wait to graduate this spring and then leave this place for good. Leave this school, leave the crappy lunches, and leave the people that I can't stand. I just have to make it through the rest of this year.
When I get to my locker, my amazingly cute boyfriend is there waiting for me. A smile is instantly drawn across my lips as I see him. I already knew that he saw me as I walked faster towards him.
"Hey Brent!" I chirp as I twist the dial on my locker, putting the combination in.
"Hey babe..." He says back.
He wraps his arms around my waist and nuzzles his head into my neck as I giggle.
"You're going to make me late for class," I whine as I turn around and wrap my arms around his neck.
"Ok...ok, I'm sorry babe. I'll walk you to your class then...."
I cut him off by saying, "No, go to class. There is no reason for you to be late because of me."
I lean up on to my tippy toes and peck his lips once and then rush to class, running down the hallways. As I'm going through the halls of the school, I run around a corner, straight into a wall. No, not a wall. A person, a guy in fact. A very muscular, strong, solid guy.
"Umpf...." I feel myself start to fall backwards when two very strong arms reach out quickly to save me. I finally realize that I'm being held against their body when I look up to see exactly who it is. I freeze when I see their eyes. Big, crystal blue eyes staring down into mine. Why is this guy looking into my eyes as if he can look straight into my soul? I am absolutely breathtaken just by looking at his eyes.
I start to stutter, "Um....Um....I'm...I'm sorry..." I finally manage to get out.
"Don't worry about it Kitten," He says with a deep, sexy drawl.
"Kitten?" I ask, feeling very confused.
"Well, I don't know your name, so Kitten should be okay for now. Don't you think?"
"Yes, no...I don't know?" I stutter out, looking around anxiously.
"Do I make you nervous?" he asks with a smirk.
I look away from him immediately because I know that if I look into his eyes again, I'll be at a loss for words.
"Kitten, look at me when I'm talking to you..." he trails off when he grabs my chin and turns my face so that I'm looking right into his eyes. "Answer me," he says calmly.
"No," I stutter, cursing myself mentally for not being able to talk to him without stuttering.
He turned me so my back was toward the wall and started walking me backwards. "I think that you're lying to me Kitten. I don't like it when you lie to me," he said as my back was pressed up against the wall.
All I can think of saying is "My name is not Kitten!" and I do just that.
He just laughs and asks, "Then what is it.... Kitten?" He adds just to annoy me.
"Ashley. What's yours?"
"Trevor, but you know, you could just call me your lover," He says with another one of his smirks.
"Excuse me? I am not your lover and I have a boyfriend!" I scold him. This just seemed to make him angry with me.
"You. Do. Not. Have. A. Boyfriend." He growled.
I knew that something bad was going to happen if I didn't get away from him.
"I have to go to class now.... bye," I manage to squeak out as I turn and go underneath his arm that was blocking me in. I quickly run to my class, hoping that he won't follow me or try talking to me ever again. No matter how sexy I think he is.
