Chapter 3: Bestfriends-fOreVER?

I slowly opened the door of our house. I arrived at home at 2:30 am. I wouldn't be surprise if my mom would shout at me tomorrow and ground me for months. Or even for years!

But it doesn't matter at this moment. I was just too depressed of the happenings.

I went home after we put the body of V's grandmother under the ground. We wrapped it with a white blanket before burrying it.

I know it is kind of wierd and eerie. You know,whenever a person died,you should go to the church to bless the dead's body,kind of like that. I asked her about that and she simply replied that her grandmother wished for that. Wierd.

I walked on tiptoe. I certainly don't want to wake up my mother. Because if I did,She will scold me at this moment.

The light is off and I heard nothing but the quietness.
She is asleep.

I sighed in relief but suddenly the lights when on and...

"Where the HELL have you been,young lady?"

"Mom!" I exclaimed.

My mom is smiling at me and she is talking calmly. Her smile is so fake,it doesn't look so good! It is freakin' scary! And the 'Hell' word is hard as rock.

She looks like a ghost or something. I am totally freakin' out and so dead.

"And you call me Mom at this moment?!" She widened her eyes. She still got that scary smile.

"M-mom,look,I'm sorry. I will explai--"

"Even you have a valid reason,You are still dead, Little Missy!" She shouted. Oh,My Shit. "And I am not the only one you should be sorry to!"

"Y-yes,I know. Dad,too,ofcourse." I gulped after saying that. He could be worst! Gladly he is not here in this country.

She didn't speak but I see that face of hers,still annoyed and kind of thinking something. Eventually,she pulled out her phone then she called someone.

"Where are you? --- Yes,she's already here. --- What? Why?--- Is there any problem between you two? --- Thank you for your help,You are such a really great kid --- Okay,go home safely." She put her phone inside her pocket after a conversation with someone ---I think,Someone I know.

She glanced at me. But I didn't mind that because I was curious of something.

"Mom,who is that?" Could that be... No,maybe,No..Arghh..

Mom glared at me one more time and climed the stairs without answering. Aish! How can I sleep like this?!
