The beginning of the end !

Durring the great war 7.122 billion life's were lost. It was said the sky light up the most beautiful yellow orange and then silence.

" Is the coast clear?" I asked?

Nick peaked his head out slowly to see if it was safe out side for the moment.

" Yeah for now "said nick.

" We need more supply's and ammo!" Collin said finally for the first time since the outbreak.

I have two best friend's, Collin Deal and Nick Bayless. Collin is five ft and ten inches tall with medium length brunet colored hair, he's also kind of chubby. But the thing that stick's out the most about him is he's sadistic. I myself became friend when we were walking through the hall's and i randomly said hi to him and after that he just kind of stuck around. Nick and I have been friend's since elementary school. we went to Harold Schnell elementary school. Nick is five-eleven at most with brown hair that look's exactly like Kiba from yu-GI-oh and he wear's glasses. To me it seem's that Nick's skill set is being really smart because he always say's something smart. My name is Cody Newton and I guess that my skill set would be staying positive, joking around all within killing and being quiet and getting in and out. Every morning when I wake up I say to my self "If I were to die today I would be honored to die beside Nick And Collin."   Nick and Collin are my most trusted best friends         

" Nick give me an ammo count!" I said in a urgent indoor voice.

" We have three grenade's, three thirty-two round magazine's for you'r mp40 and twelve round's for you're revolver, one-hundred bullet's for Collin's AK-forty-seven and no ammo for his dessert and i have three ten round magazine's for my glock."

" Collin give me a fuel count."

" We have at least a month's supply of fuel."

" That's good." I said to my self.

Our base is under ground in a big room in the sewer's so we always have to spray some thing that smell's nice so we don't smell like shit. Our base is just outside of Hollywood, California. But since the military base is right out side our hide out i was able to finesse a hum-v with a fifty cal. chain gun on it. It's desert colored.

" We need to scavage for food and water and ammo. Collin you and I will check the millitary base for ammo and while we are there we will do a maitinance check on the electric fence and a perimater sweep. Nick I want you to make a run for food and any type of junk food and energy drinks are bonus if you find any. And also try to find any thing else we cane use like map's battery's (ect.). I need to favores from you, keep your walkie's on at all time's and don't get killed."

" All right then." Nick said.

" Let's pray and then we will grab our gear and head out."

The three of use formed a little circle and closed our eye's and bowed our head's as i said the word's "Dear heavenly father we thank you for allowing us to live another day and we just ask you keep us safe as were get ready to go out into this horrible world in Jesus name we pray Amen."

"Alright boys lets get out here and get what we need and get our asses back here so we can enjoy another meal together alright, let's move."

As i opened the door Collin wen't out side first followed by Nick and i was last. There were at least four or five zombies out side so we decided to end their misery and kill them for there own good by stating them in the head with knife's and started on are way's. Collin and I reached the military base in twenty-five minuet's top's.

"Collin I want you to do a maintenance check on the electric fence generators i'm gonna check in with nick and let him know we are fine."

¨alright¨ Collin said as he takes off like a little kid.
