Destiny’s POV

“Time to meet your roommate!” Hank excitedly announced as we sauntered down the seemly endless corridors. I raise an eyebrow, “Roommate?”
“Yes! Everyone has a roommate, it teaches you social skills.” Hank said trying to persuade me that it was a good thing. “Here we are!” he opened the door excitedly; revealing a brunette in a dark blue dress perched in the windowsill. She looked up disapprovingly from her book, made a face of disgust and returned to reading. “Nerd” I said out loud, I hadn’t meant to do that.
“Excuse me?” she sassily questions gently placing her book down. Hank awkwardly exchanged looks between the two of us, “I’m going to let you girls bond!” and swiftly exited the room.
“Are you really going to try me?” I hissed as she stood up.
“Oh, honey. You really don’t want to start this!” she said in a thick British accent. As mist of blue light appeared hovering above the palms of her hands. “Oh, it’s on!”  I said, icicles forming at my fingertips.
POW! My roommate blew a hole in the wall beside me, one of my icicles shot straight through it and hit the bullseye of the dartboard in the other room. We both peered through the hole. “Let’s be friends.” She giggled.
“Best friend’s” I chuckle in reply
