Sky's Adventure

It was raining and nearing midnight when I woke up feeling that something wasn't right. I pulled off my bed covers and stood up looking around the dark room. Nothing was wrong here. My bed and chest were fine. The window was locked and the items on the shelves were all in their proper places. I turned and stumbled into the bathroom fumbling around for the light switch. My fingers grazed it and I flipped it on. The lights flashed on and I blinked rapidly to get my eyes adjusted to the bright lights. I walked over to the mirror and gazed into it. I looked fine. There wasn't anything wrong with me like a giant squid sitting on my head. I still had my long blonde hair that stopped at my waist, my bright blue eyes, headphones, and tall height. I rubbed my head a little confused on why I woke up. I left the bathroom and flicked on the lights in my bedroom area. I went over to my chest and pulled out some clothes. A nice green shirt, sandy brown camo pants, grey fingerless gloves, brown knee height boots, and a tan trench coat. I pulled on the shirt and pants then grabbed the boots. I slipped the gloves on and put on my coat. I made sure my headphones were firmly on and wondered silently why was I getting so geared up. A muffled sound came from outside my room and I cautiously walked to the door. I opened it slowly half expecting a squid sitting outside ready to launch onto my face. Nothing was there and I stepped into the hall. I looked up and down it then shrugged. I turned to go back into my room when a crash came from down the left hallway. As I started walking down the hall wishing I had brought my flashlight. It was pitch black and I could easily stumble if there was a box of supplies laying about.

On and on I walked looking for something that could be the source of the noise. They occasionally came again, and the closer I got the more it sounded like someone shouting.  Suddenly something shot from the wall and narrowly missed my face. I jumped backwards and spotted and arrow sticking into the wall. A tripwire was laying on the ground and connected to a dispenser on the other wall. I checked inside the dispenser and found multiple arrows inside. I took them out so no one else would get hurt then continued onward.

The shouting was getting louder as I got closer to the area where the high ranked members in the army were. I passed a couple doors and read the nameplates as I passed.

"Deadlox, TrueMU, ASFJerome, HuskyMudkipz, KermitdoesMC, SSundee," I read quietly outloud. A muffled crash came from farther up the hall and suddenly it became very quiet. Something felt very wrong here. I quickened my pace and soon found a door ajar near the end of the hall. I looked inside and gasped. The room was torn up and items were strewn everywhere. A desk was overturned, slash marks were in the walls, chairs were laying in smashed heaps, box's contents were laying all over the floor. I turned to the door and looked at the nameplate. My eyes widened as I realized who was in here. "SkythekidRS..." I mumbled as I looked over the room. If someone had been in here, they weren't now. I turned quickly when I heard footsteps coming from towards the hangar.  As I started running towards the hanger I found myself fearing for what I would find. I stopped suddenly outside the hangar doors. Inside near a jet fighter sat Sky, trussed up like a thanksgiving turkey. He was trying to shout at someone and break the ropes that held him. I ducked behind a crate as someone stepped out from the shadows near the jet.

"Don't try to escape, Sky,"

I  narrowed my eyes. The figure was Nyx. She was a black haired bully who wasn't afraid to taunt me when one of the commanders or generals weren't around. But she looked different now. Her once tanned skin was bluish, and her eyes were strange. I can't describe how they looked, but let me just say they were freaky! Tentacles stuck out of her back and quivered in the air. She looked very... Squid-like if I may. She walked around to face Sky and crossed her arms with a smug grin sitting on her face.

"The squid army will pay me well once I deliver you to them. They want your Intel on the Sky Army base and army. And who better to tell them then the leader himself," Nyx said grabbing Sky's cheek. He glared at her silently the gag in his mouth preventing any outbursts.
