Today's the day...
Today's the day that he's going to see me. Wade Parker.
He got in a little fight with my father, that I know. But he told me he was just "negotiating"
I am the only daughter of my father and three days ago, my fate was decided for me.
My father, John Burns, owns a lot of companies that I absolutely have no interest in. But I know it pays us bigtime cause I wouldn't be living in a mansion if it didn't, right (show-off)? I'm his only daughter, Faye Burns but I actually had a sister before.
Her name was Sandra Burns. She was probably the closest thing to me. She would hum me to sleep, tell me jokes, comfort me when I'm sad, she was almost like a mother because our mother and father are divorced so... yeah. COMPLICATED. She died when I was just 9 years old. It's already been 4 years passed and my my heart just started to mend itself.
Anyway, the company of my dad has been low on finance and he couldn't pay his debt to his supplier. My dad liked making debts cause he was always so proud that he could actually pay it all. But I guess, not everyday can be his lucky day.
Since he can't pay his debt, he had no choice but to let me marry his supplier's son, Mark Hanson, a snotty, cold-hearted, insensitive and irritating jerk. But it'My s either I marry him or we get stripped of all our belongings.
HONESTLY, WE'RE ALREADY IN THE 21st CENTURY, NOT THE MING DYNASY!
But my boyfriend, Luke Jackson, and I have been dating way before they started that stupid agrrement and my father knew it. When Luke found out, he was furious with rage and promised that he would stop our wedding even if it means he'll get beaten up.

So here I was, standing at the tree we used to hang out together, hoping he was done neotiating and... was still alive.
Suddenly footsteps came and two figures came towards me. I realized that it was Luke and my father. I was almost going to run towards Luke when he suddenly kneeled down in front of me crying, his arms up.
BANG!
Luke fell face down to the pavement... Blood dripping...
I looked at my father's hateful eyes in disbelief....
