Chapter 8-some turn of events

Adrian's POV- I woke up at around 10:20 in the morning I sat up in my bed and looked around the room, I decided to play a game on the console till Natalie came and told me my schedule for today. *knock**knock* "come in" I said "hey kitten do you want to come to the store with me" said my mother (yes she does exists in this story!) " shure let's go" I responded "where are we going?" "We are going to buy a present for Natalie it's her birthday today!" Exclaimed my mother "I didn't know it was her birthday today, why didn't you tell me?" I asked playfully with my hands on the side of my hips "I thought she had told you?" She said "well then let's go get her a cake as well!"I suggested.we went to the mall and bought her a presenten we were done at the mall we started heading to the bakery, my mother had told me that they had the best pastries in all of Paris. "So,what bakery are we going to?" "We are going to an old friends, me and her were best friends when we were in high school she also has a daughter!" She said wile poking my sides "are you trying to set me up again, because last time you did that it didn't end well" I said "what do you mean Chloe is a sweetheart!" My mother said "WHAT!!, you have got to be kidding me she is clingy,mean,bossy,selfish..." I said while my mom cut me off "okay okay I get it she has changed in these past years but she wasn't like this believe it or not she was nice" continued my mother "oh we're here!" She exclaimed "hey this is marinettes baker!" I said with a smile on my face "do you...like her!" She said tickling my sides "no,mom HAHAHA stop!" I said laughing *blushing* *gasps* "YOU DO!!!" She yelled "come on mom let's order a cake and maybe get some macaroons!" "Shure let's go inside" she said with a smile. When we went inside it was packed with people,I saw marinette with a red and black dotted sun dress I felt my face heat up. "Hi Adrian what can I get you!" She said with a smile in her face "do you have any chocolate cakes?" I asked "shure, any special occasion?" "It's my dads assistant's birthday today and I wanted to get her a birthday cake" I said "that's really nice of you, I'll be right back with your cake!" *blush*. Was that a blush...nah must be hallucinating she'll never like me like that. Soon marinette came with the cake I got some macaroons and bought them my mother wouldn't stop poking my sides and soon we got home. We gave Natalie her present and ate the cake with her it was around 9:30 I went to my room and got changed to go to the club I got my chat noir hoodie and my breakdancing pant and shoes. I closed my door to my room and started to leave
