Back again to the world of Attack on Titans

Villagers were screaming for help while they were being picked up by the giant man-eating titans. Their screams and prayers fell on deaf ears, not even the gods would save them from this nightmare of a world.

Only the specific people who have the courage and bravery can demolish the savage titans. Swift soldiers with 3DMG to make them  glide in the air like soaring birds. Too many innocent people have died in this gruesome world.

"Get that titan on the right!" Eren shouted loudly towards Armin.

"Eren, are you sure? That one is bound to be about 20 meters tall!" Armin quickly repiled, dodging the hungry grasp of the titans below them.

"It's too risky Armin!" said Mikasa with fear in her once pointed and blank eyes.

"We said we'll risk anything to keep the civilians safe, even our  lives!" snapped Eren  going closer to the abnormal and 10 meter titan.

Suddenly another abnormal leaped and took a chunk Eren's forearm. Eren tried using his 3DMG to get out of the titans large hands. But, the titan's hold was too strong.

"OH SHIT!" Eren exclaimed, stabbing the titan's hand. His dull blade immediately shattered on contact. The abnormal yowled in pain and thus Eren had delayed his death by a couple of seconds.

Just about when the titan was going to finish Eren off, a familiar raven-haired girl flashed by.

"I told you it was too risky!" yelled Mikasa slicing the abnormal's nape.

Eren fell heavily towards a random roof, his back cracking and pieces of the roof breaking off due to the impact. He got up with a groan and his shaky hands reached to rub the sensitive area where he was hurt.

"EREN! Are.. you okay?" muttered Armin as he rushed towards Eren with rolls of extra bandages.

"I-I'm, FUCK! Okay Armin.. I just need new blades. My fucking old one broke when that stupid bitch of a titan grabbed me." Eren went silent as Armin cleaned and offered to bandage his arm wounds.

Eren declined, his head popped up when he heard the sound of 3DMG being used nearby. His eyes were met by other members of his squad.

"We lost Amelia and Hans! We didn't see the titan coming.. It just fucking jumped out of no where!" a scruffy voice said belonging to a heavily built blond boy , Reiner, when he landed on the roof where the trio was staying at.

"Oh my gosh. Really?! Oh no no no no..." Armin said, his baby blue eyes widening in sudden panic.

"There's nobody else that better at healing than Hans! We're running low on soldiers. Our numbers seem to be dropping rapidly these pass couple of days! We can't bear to lose more!"

The others nodded in agreement absentmindedly, distracted by the horrible sight unfolding in front of their eyes.

"We should get going by now, I saw other squads on the way here, most of them had almost all of their people.." Sasha said, only wanting to go back to the base to fill her empty and grumbling stomach.

Eren was done bandaging by now and practically everybody was ready to take off.

Loud whishing noises filled the air as the squad maneuvered around, the ends of their gear hooks attaching on to old brick buildings. They looked majestic that way. Wind traveled past their ears the girls' hairs whipped past behind their head.

The squad had to be attentive as they had a few close calls with people flying too low and unsuspecting titans almost taking a hold of their legs. Eight minutes had passed and they had soon arrived at the base.

Multiple loud thumps were heard when the squad hit the ground gracefully. Two of the assigned squads were already there, waiting for orders and loudly chatting among themselves.

The last squad arrived, thankfully, with only some minor injuries such as bruises of shallow cuts. While the squad was bandaging and healing their minor injuries, Eren's squad quietly stood there fumbling nervously.

The loud chattering groups strolled leisurely towards the cafeteria building, talking about how the squad mission went, others crying (Some sobbing hysterically) about losing their friends during that day.

Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Connie, and Sasha sat together on a table tucked away in the corner of the room. They ate quietly, only the sounds of munching and slurping were to be heard in their table.

(Connie dropped some scalding hot soup on himself and the whole table burst out in thundering, boisterous laughter, causing most people there to look at them in confusion)

Since that the whole table relaxed their tense shoulders and told jokes to one another. Their empty plates and bowls lay forgotten as the once sulking group turned into the loudest thing in the room.

Everybody took care of their empty dishes and went back outside to see that it was evening. The beautiful sunset glimmering and shining on the soldiers' faces.

They all headed towards the barracks in a big group, saying their goodnights and goodbyes already.

Suddenly a bolt of blue lightning and loud thunder appeared in the sky.

All heads snapped upwards and eyes widened. The light atmosphere evaporated at an instant, the tense air returning. People turned their head towards the nearest person toward them, furrowing their eyebrows and making confused faces at each other.

"What was that?"

"Did you see it?"

"What the fuck?"

"Why was it so loud!"

"Do you know what that was?"

"Have any of you seen that before?"

All questions were only with a shrug and an, "I don't know."

"Did somebody else turn into a titan?" Armin panicked, his head whipping to every direction trying to figure where exactly it could've have came from.

"I don't think so." Mikasa said calmly as usual, but with a slight hint of edge on her voice.

Most people in the base chose to go, leaving only a handful people of soldiers staying behind as they stood dumbfounded and glued before they all headed back towards the barracks. The people that had chosen to go whipped out their 3DMG and headed off looking for the mysterious lightning.

They all wasted no time lifting themselves up on the ground and leaping off towards into the air. People split into the squad groups they have had that afternoon.

If a civilian were to look up right now, they would only see blurs of brown and white passing, and jumping on top of roofs.

The base wasn't the only one that had seen and heard the strange phenomenon. Civilians relaxing were now busting out of their front doors hoping to catch a glimpse of the vivid blue again.

All four groups arrived at the scene. They investigated the all area it was spotted in. It was no surprise when they  saw numerous amounts of random civilian forming large and bustling crowds in that same area too.

"I guess other people saw that too." said Mikasa softly, trying to comprehend what possibly could've happened just mere minutes ago.

"Yeah, no shit. Judging by how fucking bright that thing was, the whole fucking world would've seen that by now. Bitch was brighter than Captain Shadis's head." Connie yapped loudly, causing a few people near him to chuckle under their breath.

"Yeah... What even was that? " Eren trailed off as he mindlessly stared into the jaw dropping sight.

A large crater with smoke coming out of it. Peculiarly filled with tiny bits of ice and ember.

Such a normal day..... So normal

1.2k words! Holy crap. This is a pretty old book of mine and i'm kinda coming back to it.. Realized of how cringey and how many grammar mistakes there were. Happy to see this book back! I'll try to make most chapters 900+ words long so it won't be boring and short.

Thank you for reading!
